Max POV After I get ready for work before heading to school I see my bullies once again "heya max how are you doing are you ready for your daily hit!?" He says yelling at the end. Let me explain the "daily hit" thing so he comes to my work with his slut of a girlfriend and they hit me twice each in different spots. "Please James not today." I say exhausted as soon as I start to walk away he punches my back making me fall to the ground "I didn't know you could have an opinion on this, poor max he's not feeling it today? Well to bad!" His girlfriend Vicky yelled out. "Shit." I mumble just barely under my breath. I start running to class thankfully I made it in time.
( big Time skip) sorry there might be a lot It's pretty much midnight when I finish my shifts nothing interesting happened some Karen's there and then but not to bad. As I was going to sit on my couch and finish my homework for tomorrow, I hear banging on the door, I open it to see another guy I helped a few nights back " the hell happened to you!" I yell he looks at me "I got a knife if you couldn't tell and I need help and you know what your doing so I came to you." He says I tried to remember his name benji it was benji! "Really benji, you know what just come in sit on the table." I say with a tired tone "yes sir." He says walking to the table
I finish up with the wraps, " you can stay the night I washed everything on the couch bed." I say just wanting to finish my homework and sleep " you look awful." He says walking towards the bathroom with the clothes I gave him " gee thanks really appreciate the compliment." I say packing up my now finished homework into my bag in the corner by the door. I walk towards my bedroom but I stop and go to where benjis going to stay "uh I'm going to bed, kill me if you want I don't care just let me sleep so good night and in the morning you can just leave I'll clean up." I walk towards my bed and flop face first and pass out
I woke up to shaking "ugh what do you want.." I say still sleepy " um your alarm went off and you didn't wake up so I woke you up now get you ass ready for whatever that alarm was for." He say yelling a bit at the end. So I get up say goodbye " wait where are you even going." Benji asks me folding the blankets. " I have to get to work I still have two more plus collage so I gotta go." I say shutting the door
(Time skip) I was working the counter tonight at the store when a lady who looked 30 or 40 walked up to me with a drink and chips "your total is $14.30, cash or card ma'am." I say politely, she looked shocked "that much money for a drink and chips! That's outrageous can't you lower the price or something!" She asks getting in my face " sorry ma'am but those are the prices we have and I can't just give you a discount." I say with little to now emotion. She slapped me and asked again and when I said no she left.
On the walk home I see Andy another guy I took care of at my door " hey Andy you need something?" I ask when I got to the door " yeah actually can you check my bullet wound I think it reopened." He says with a shy tone, I nod and open the door. " can you take off your shirt so I can check it?" I ask while getting my stuff ready. Sure enough it had reopened.
"That feels so much better thank you max." He says putting his shirt back on " no problem you can stay here tonight if you wish." I say walking to my bedroom to sleep, " yes boss I'm here with him, yep fixed it right up! I tell ya he's a genus! You want to meet him? When? Right now? I mean ok I guess we can do that." Andy says while walking towards my room I lay still to tired to move " hey max I'm gonna need you to wake up a bit buddy you got someone's meet." He says softly shaking me lightly " fine just let me get dressed then your gonna have to carry me I'm to tired to walk." I get dressed and he carries me to the car and then starts driving.
