Nessian Rant

So i was just scrolling through tik tok and i came across a vid about that time that cassian says something like 'everyone hates you' to nesta in acosf. and people in the comments were like 'that's when i realized i hated cassian'.

i just have to say there is a lot to unpack here, so stay if you want, or you can just skip this, i rant over stuff all the time lol.

i'm gonna start this off with the fact that i think both cassian and nesta are great characters- and i love nesta's whole character development. but there comes a line that i draw lmao.

is it just okay for nesta to throw insults and shit at everyone, and expect everyone to coddle her like a princes or something? don't get me wrong- she's badass and i love her, but she was a raging bitch before everything. cassian says one, i repeat one thing wrong, and suddenly he's the worst character. like my god- some of y'all really out here praising nesta for doing the exact same thing cassian did... once!

it's normal for people to lose their shit sometimes- he's literally a fucking army general?? part of the group of some of the most powerful illyrians in history?? seven siphons??

cassian lost his temper. rhys is his brother. nesta insulted his brother.

also when people are like 'yeah feyre sucks'. ok ma'am, what did you want feyre to do huh? watch her sister whom she (may i remind you), took care of for a long while, destroy herself? she helped her in the only way she knew possible. dragging her out of that depression hole she built for herself. feyre doesn't act like a bottle of fucking rainbows to her sister for once? good.

this is not nesta slander- but she really needed a reality check. it broke my heart for the two to be angry with each other- but she kinda used to treat him like the dirt at the bottoms of her shoe or something. i can't honestly really relate to nesta- and i felt bad for what she's been through, and all the shit that's been thrown at her, but it doesn't give anyone any reason to shit on feyre. it is possible to stan both feyre and nesta. feyre's an icon peridot. but so is nesta. and elain is- um well anyways...it's not illegal to stan both nesta & feyre.

nesta was going through some tough stuff- i respect her need to be alone, and i'm happy she's feeling better and whatnot but my god you can not say you hate cassian for throwing one insult at nesta. he owed her nothing- no matter how much he cared for her. i'm happy they both got the ending they deserved. happy with each other.

LMAO, in all seriousness i think that them going through tough times and still fighting for each other makes their relationship all that much interesting. just bothers me when some people shit on cassian for something he clearly regretted :(

anyways i'm currently in the making of a lucien pov of meeting the inner circle/feysand reuniting scene, so that should be up soon!
