An: Hello reader I have brought you another chapter. Very important: I have made a small change to chapter 3 Spacing out. Now when Chloe does research on Ash she finds he is dead and that's it. Sorry for changing something after publishing it but I needed to change it for long term events. Anyway, be sure to comment and give any suggestions you have.

Chloe's POV:

'Ug, why do I even have to come to this' I complained within my head as I look at the window of the plane with Eevee who is jumping to look out the window. "At least your enjoying yourself," I say picking up Eevee to help her look out the window better. 'Wish I could just stay home.'

---FlashBack---

"Chloe can you come down here" I hear my dad call from the kitchen.

"Coming" I reply as I get up from my desk and arrive in the kitchen to see both Mum and Dad sitting at the table. "What did you want me for?"

"As you know I'm going to Parker's school camp as one of the helpers" Mum started.

"Yeah, I know that," I say confused about where this is going.

"Well you see I got an offer to go to Galar and attend the world coronation series final and it was too big of an opportunity to pass up" Dad explained.

"So I'll be here by myself?" I try to make sense of this all.

"No, you are still too young to stay home all alone for the whole weekend, so you have two options you can come with Galar with your father or you can come to your brothers camp and help" Mum explained.

"Can't I just stay here, I turn 18 in almost a month" I began to complain?

"We know that none of us will be within 4 hours of viridian so we will feel better if you come with one of us" dad reasoned.

"Well I'm not going to Parker's camp so I guess I'll go to Galar with dad" I huff as I walk off.

---End Flashback---

"Welcome to the finals of the world coronation series today our two finalists will battle to see..." The commentator of the match began to say as I zoned off not really caring too much about the match. I begin to look around the stadium seeing people from all over have come to see the match. I look down at Eevee who is staring down at the field with some excitement because she had never seen a battle before. I follow her gaze and I would be lying if I said that I did not find it a little interesting to see how powerful and quick the pokemon are but I still find it ultimately pointless. If the battle was to gain control of a territory or to protect yourself I would understand it but pointless battles like this just confuse me.

"I'm going to go get some more snacks" I state to my Dad and Goh who came with us. "Come on Eevee" I call to my partner for her to walk alongside me.

Eevee and I arrive at the lobby where we go to the vending machine and buy a packet of chips when a defined scream reaches my ears. I look up at the Tv showing the match and see Lance's shiny Gyarados has been knocked out. I decide to just wait in the lobby for my dad when a Chilling roar comes from outside the arena. "That should not be happening, come on Eevee" 

"Eeve" Eevee responds following me outside

Once outside what was faced before me gave me a mix of emotions I have never felt before fear, anticipation and excitement. I felt a chilling fear from a tortoise looking pokemon standing on its hind legs that was the size of a skyscraper, however, I have an odd sense of anticipation of what will happen accompanied by the thrill of not knowing if something will happen.
