Lindsey had informed the school that Stevie was picking the kids up and she had to show an ID that stated as a matter of fact that she was Stevie Nicks who was picking the girls up and as soon as Emily slid into the car with her she started biting her lip.

"Tell me dear." Stevie sighs as her driver detours to Pine Elementary.

"Can people tell when you're you know..."

"Generally No." Stevie sighs.

"Oh that's good." Emily gasps. "Wait you said Generally."

"If you leak, and they're looking at your butt they'll know, if you tell someone they'll know, but other than that generally people don't notice. I know that I get really bad cramps, when I'm on stage they disappear but other than that throughout the day, I'll be laying on the couch with a hot water bottle. You also get a little bit more emotional when you're on your period, so people might question why you're upset or why you're in a bad mood, but you can simply just answer them with something going on at home that I don't want to talk about, or family problems, or I've got a lot going on, you don't have to ever openly admit it." Stevie explains.

"But like your pads are so long that I'm worried people could see it and I..."

"No, baby no...that doesn't happen." Stevie shakes her head patting her thigh...that young girl really needed a mother and though she knew that she could never replace her mother, she wanted to try to be a mother figure to that girl.

Stevie didn't know why she had strong feelings for Lindsey and the girls. She had only seen him once and thought he was cute but now, granted it's only been a couple of weeks but she wants to be apart of his life and she's hoping that she can be. At least for the girls' sake.

Stevie couldn't help herself. Once she went to the drug store with the girls to get Emily proper fitting pads, and Emily changed it in the public bathroom stall she looked Emily up and down.

"Do you want to go bra shopping?"

Emily's eyes went wide and she started nodding enthusiastically.

"What's a bra?" Stella asks.

"You'll get one when you're older dear, Emily are you wearing one right now?"

"I'm wearing a training bra. It's really tight, my mom bought it for me before she passed away."

"I can tell sweetheart. I know you probably want to keep it because it reminds you of your mom but you're growing up and I know I certainly don't wear a bra all of the time but you do need to have some and I can take you, we're out right now and it's not that big of a deal."

"But I don't have any money." Emily bites her lip.

"Don't worry about it sweetheart." Stevie shakes her head.

"Ms. Nicks, why are you doing this?" Stella asks after a moment.

"Yeah, why are you? I appreciate it, but why are you?" Emily looks at Stevie.

"I don't know..." Stevie shakes her head.

"What do you mean?" Stella pokes.

"I mean that, I like your dad...a lot and I want you girls to have everything you could ever want or need in life. And I don't know why. There's just something telling me to do this for you guys. I want to do this for you." Stevie assures.

"Can you cook us dinner too?" Stella asks interlacing her hand with Stevie's.

"Will your dad be okay with that?" Stevie asks squeezing Stella's hand tightly.

"Daddy doesn't cook...Daddy orders take out." Stella explains.

"Well, no...Dad cooks meatloaf, hamburgers, and steak on the grill. Other than that, Dad can't cook."

"Well, what do you want for dinner?" Stevie inquires throwing her other arm around Emily's shoulder and leading towards the mall. They had gone to a Target that led into a mall.

Lindsey knocked on Stevie's door and when she opened it for him she just gave him a conniving smile.

"What's that look about?" Lindsey asks.

"The girls and I made Spaghetti, Garlic Bread, and Fresh Green Salad." Stevie explains.

"You and the girls?" Lindsey asks.

"Yes, it seems you guys are having dinner here for a second night in the row." Stevie grins.

"And whose idea was that, yours or the girls?" Lindsey asks.

"Stella asked me to cook dinner, I accepted her challenge." Stevie smiles.

"Well, I have had a long day." Lindsey sighs.

"Oh, come tell us about it." Stevie smiles pulling him into the house.

"Hi Daddy how was work?" Stella beams when Lindsey walks in. She was wearing Stevie's apron and she had sauce all over her face and she was rolling what looked like chocolate chip cookies. Stevie had taken a picture of the girls baking, no one knew though, and no one probably was going to know.

"I went on a drug bust today, and then I answered a rape call." Lindsey rolls his eyes.

"What drugs?" Stella asks.

"Stella, really?" Stevie chimes in.

"Daddy tells us everything." Stella states.

"Cocaine and Heroine trafficking. I caught them in a speed trap." Lindsey states.

"Why were you on traffic duty today?" Emily asks.

"Because we had someone call-in sick so I was sent out there to do the dirty work." Lindsey explains.

"Oh, that's no fun." Emily wrinkles her nose.

"You look different." Lindsey Points his daughter up and down.

"Stevie bought me some bras today daddy. And they're SOOO comfortable." Emily explains.

"Stevie did, did she...."

"Yeah Stevie did...And she's letting us make cookies too." Stella nods.

"I can see that." Lindsey nods.

"Lindsey, would you like a glass of red wine?" Stevie asks grabbing at a glass to pour herself one. It was the first time she had called him Lindsey and it took him back a little bit, but he liked it coming out of her mouth. There was a sweetness and a love to it.

"Um, sure I'll have one. I haven't had red wine in a while." Lindsey smiles.

"Great, Stella are those cookies ready?" Stevie inquires.

"Yes." Stella grins.

Stevie grabs the pan and puts it in the oven, and then picks up the pot of spaghetti in her oven mitt covered hands. "Alright, shall we go eat dinner?"

Lindsey moaned as he bit into the meatball and Stevie shifted in her seat because the sound he made, caused a pulse between her legs.

"These are amazing." He holds up his half eaten meatball.

"My mother's secret recipe." Stevie shrugs.

"Well they're really good." Lindsey smiles.

"I'm so glad that you like them." Stevie gives him a sweet look.
