"I miss Lindsey." Stevie states puttering around her Phoenix Arizona home. Lori and Chris live in her house while she's in Los Angeles, and the only reason she has a home in Phoenix is because her family is there so come Holidays and special occasions when she's in Phoenix she can have her own space but still be close to her family.

Lori who had announced her pregnancy in Mid-March was munching on some olives-she was Greek and they had been her biggest craving-just looked at her. "You should bring him and the kids out here."

"They're back in school now. Em's in High School and Stella just started Middle School, they can't afford a vacation out here right now." Stevie sighs.

"So what are you going to do?" Lori asks. The only reason Stevie was in Phoenix was for the birth of her niece. Lori was due in Mid-September but Stevie wanted to be there to throw a baby shower and to help her out with whatever she needed at this last miserable stage of her pregnancy.

"I don't know, I'm thinking that I kind of want to move in with him and the girls permanently but that requires buying a new house." She sighs.

"Stevie, you live there anyway, what's the difference in buying a new house together?" Lori inquires.

"Nothing, there's not a difference. It's just I'd have to sell the one I already have, and then what do we do, do we combine our money, do we just keep our separate bank accounts, will the house be in my name or be in his...and what if we break up and..."

"Stevie, shut up...I don't think you two are going to break up. You're walking around here like a lost puppy without him. And those girls call you mom for Christ Sakes. Just go home. I'm fine, You threw me a lovely baby shower yesterday, and we'll call as soon as the baby is born and we'll fly to California as soon as you move into your new house and let the baby meet their Uncle Lindsey and their cousins." Lori smirks.

"We're not married."

"It doesn't matter, because he's going to be Uncle Lindsey." Lori pats her hands.

"Oh you're right this is stupid. I want to go home, I want to be with my family." She slumps down in defeat. "I'm sorry Lori, I really wanted to be here for you."

"It's okay, I understand." Lori smirks.

When Stevie unlocked the front door, she received the key to the house around her birthday in May, it was quiet save for Luna who jumped off the couch and started barking to greet Stevie.

"Oh, Hi baby girl. I know I missed you too." Stevie coos giving her some loves and pets before pressing further into her house.

"Anything else I can do for you boss?" Karen asks.

"I know you're on vacation, but could you get all the stuff out of my house and put it in a storage unit and call my Realtor?" Stevie inquires going towards the kitchen and pouring herself a glass of raspberry iced tea.

"Absolutely. Anything else." Karen asks.

Stevie looks around the kitchen and spies the four steaks Lindsey had sitting out on the counter.

"Um, yeah, can you run to the grocery store and get me some corn on the cob and some stuff for my potato salad." She asks.

"Potatoes, Radishes, Celery, and eggs?" Karen asks.

"Potatoes, Radishes..." She stops and opens the fridge "And just celery. Lindsey has everything else in here." Stevie explains.

Luna nudges at the door so she lets her out and then she makes her way downstairs to unpack and get settled. Stevie was cutting up the potatoes when the front door opened and the girls came traipsing in.

"Hey, Hey...backpacks, to your room, I know it's only the second week, but I'm assuming you have homework so gather it and come sit and do it." Stevie scolds.

"When did you get home?" Emily asks coming into the kitchen and giving her a hug, sneaking a bite of potato as she did so.

"I got home earlier this morning." Stevie explains.

"You were supposed to stay in Phoenix until your niece or nephew was born." Stella comes in and hugs her as well.

"Yeah, but I missed you guys too much." Stevie explains.

"We missed you too mom." Emily smiles.

"Alright, now homework. How was school?"

"Long." "Good"

"Long, why was it Long Em" Stevie asks.

"High School is just weird...it's like different."

"Generally yes, yes it is." Stevie nods.

"I feel like having multiple classes with different teachers makes my day go by faster and I like it, because I'm not one for school." Stella states.

"Oh no?" Stevie asks.

"No, I hate school."

"Do you guys want a snack or something?" Stevie asks when they return from their rooms with their homework.

"Granola Bar please?" Stella asks.

"Em?"

"Apple."

When Lindsey got home and smelt the corn cooking, he cocked an eyebrow. He hadn't planned on Corn, it was going to be steak and mashed potatoes and gravy but as he ventured further into the house and saw that the girls were watching TV, and heard the laundry machine he figured it out.

"Did Stevie come home?" He asks.

"Yeah, this morning. We were shocked when we got here after school and saw her." Emily nods.

"Huh, She wasn't supposed to be back until at least October." Lindsey states.

"She said she missed us." Stella informs him.

"Well, I'm going to go see her and change." Lindsey tells the kids.

"Alright." Emily smiles.

When he gets down there, she's bent over putting some clothes in the dryer, he had a stackable unit so he just reaches over and he grabs her butt causing her to squeal and shoot up, falling back into him.

"Welcome home Honey." She smirks.

"How come you didn't tell me you were coming home?" Lindsey asks as she turns around in his arms her fingers going up to tug at the hairs at the back of his neck.

"I wanted to surprise you." She smiles.

"Well I'm certainly surprised." He smirks pushing her against the washer and dryer and kissing her.

"As you should be. I can't wait until the girls go to bed tonight." She smirks.

"Why?" He asks.

Her hand leave his neck and trail down his arms and his back to come rest at his belt.

"Because I want to ravish you." She tells him.

"Mmm, I think it'll be the other way around." He smirks kissing her again.

"Maybe." She winks.

"So why did you come home?"

"I missed you, and I hadn't seen you in months because of my tour and I love you and I just couldn't be away from you anymore...we um, we need a bigger house."

"Are you asking me and the girls to move in with you?" Lindsey asks.

"Kinda...I'm saying that we sell my house, and this one, and we pick out a house together. I'll pay for it, but we'll put it in your name. I don't think we're going to crash and burn but if we do, I want you to have a house."

"It is kinda cramped in here with both of us, the kids, and the dog, and I wouldn't mind being further away from Stella, and pretty soon Em's going to have a license and a car, and where she's at gives her an easy access to sneaking out." He smirks.

"So are we doing this?" She asks.

"Yeah, we're doing this." He nods.
