Hiccup's POV 

i was about to walk down into Astrid house when i remembered that she told me to avoid her uncle. i walk around to the back and see a window i grab a step ladder out of shed next to me and climb in. i look around and see a nice clean room. doesn't look like a room of a acholic. i go open the draws and she girl cloths. 

H:"unless Astrid has a sister i've her room" i think to myself

now that i think about it she could. We're not that close and i don't know much about her. i started to think about what she'll need. I give up because girls can be sooo picky. i grab all her cloths and shoved them in her bag. i turn to leave but see a plushy of some kind of bird on her bed i grabbed and its wing fell of i looked at the wing and then the full bag. I needed one hand to climb down the ladder and the other to hold the plushy. looks like i have to leave behind the wing. oh well I can make it a new one. i was looking at the wing when i heard someone barge into the house. as i dropped the wing i saw  writing on a tag "Astrid and"   i jumped out the window and tried to climb down the ladder forgetting that the plushy was in my hand. I lost my balance and fell. my world went black.

Astrid POV

after a hour and a half i decided to text hiccup

A:hey were are you

no response

Hiccup POV

i hear my phone go off faintly in my mined and try to reach for the world that i had been distanced from.

Astrid POV

i hade been sitting here for two hours when hiccup limps up. i ran up to him and hugged him.

A:"Hiccup are you okay"

H:"i will be when you let me go" he said wincing 

A:"opps sorry"

H:"I grabbed  this for you"

he passed me, my bag and a plushy. i looked at plushy and realized that he might have seen the wing, and the tag. 

A:"do you have the wing"

H:"no i had to leave it behind"

i started to cry.

H:"hey it's okay i'll make you a new wing"

i tried to stop crying and put on a fake smile. He didn't realize that it was the hope i could get him to remember that i had lost.

A:"r-really"

H:"really"

i punched him 

A:"thats for taking so long" 

H:"sorry" he muttered while rubbing his arm.

A:"why did you take so long"

H:"i fell and hit my head"

A:"are you okay"

H:"i'm fine Astrid it happened before"

A:"What when"

H:"once when i was twelve i fell down stairs , i don't remember very much before that  but that's all the times i can remember"

so that's why he doesn't remember me because he lost his memory 4 years after he left.

H:"come on Astrid your coming to my house remember" hiccup called scattering my thoughts

a short chapter but I'm running out of ideas. Most the chapter after this will be quite short probably blow 600 word but oh well.
