"What are you doing here? Where's Jack?" I asked him.

"You really want Jack as your escort?" He says and raises his eyebrows.

"You can't answer a question with a question Jace." I groan. What was he doing here? Please don't tell me he tied Jack to a tree.

I started to go over the scenarios in my head of what he could have done to him.

"I didn't do anything to him." He chuckled. I guess my face expressed what I was thinking.

"Then why isn't he here?" I asked.

"Because he didn't want to do this. And I was after him so they told me that I was on homecoming court this morning. Also they announced it on the afternoon announcements." He pointed out.

"Who listens to the afternoon announcements?" I asked. Literally everyone packs up or talks when the announcements come on the last five minutes at the end of the day.

"I do actually." He says and smirks.

I just rolled my eyes. The teacher, who's name I didn't know, started telling us to take our places. It was seniors, juniors, sophomore and then freshmen. (A/N correct me if this wrong!)

The band started to play and then they made one big line with a generous gap for us to walk through. Also four color guards were holding huge numbers which was the year. (duh)

Then the person on the announcements started to call out our names as we walked out. I was nervous the whole time and griped onto Jace like my life depended on it.

"You that nervous huh?" He smirked.

Once everyone was done we all stood in a line and smiled.

"You're 2015 homecoming court!"
