"She's an actress, huh?" The pure white pages blotched with ink rustled as he turned them over deliberately. The ambiguity in his voice was more bent towards fascination but the hint of mockery hadn't faded.

"Yes."

"Haven't ever seen her in any drama or movie," Jungkook stated impassively, eyes flitting between the printed words and the pictures alongside

"Tell me the last time you watched a movie that wasn't your 'I would like to kiss her while spinning her around in public' and I'll tell you why you haven't seen her in movies." The monotonous sound reached his ears and he snickered, rolling his eyes at the blonde cop's sharp memory.

"I was seventeen!" He opinionated.

"And you haven't grown a day for me." The blonde grinned.

"Her fingerprints." He passed a plastic bag to the older, ignoring the said amiable words.

"Well done. How did you get those?" The cop sitting in front of him asked.

"It was easy. She didn't bother washing her dishes and I didn't bother wasting the golden opportunity." Although she did look wiped out.

Jungkook stared at the plastic being dumped into a box which in turn ended up in a bag. Getting her details, studying about her past based on whatever data the internet could have, finding anything about her was a little easier now that they knew she was an actress.

But the blood and the wounds offered a route he didn't want to take. He just couldn't bring himself to the scenario where she would be in the wrong position, and he couldn't understand why. Maybe it was because of the unanticipated look of terror in her eyes when she saw the gun or the vexed creases on her forehead he noticed earlier that morning.

The crime of murder was bound to make news and so was her disappearance.

"Expect to see your girl's face on every news channel once you go back home today, it would have been more than twenty-four hours by then." The older spoke casually, tilting his head as he scanned through the documents.

"She isn't my girl. By the way, Yoongi hyung, got anything on a murder?" Jungkook asked as discreetly as possible. He didn't want to let the detective know about her dark memories just yet. Not until he was sure if she was guilty or anywhere near that word.

Yoongi was a man of justice more than Jungkook could ever be. His first instinct would be to hand her over to the police unless Jungkook would reason him out why he shouldn't. And at the moment he was deprived of all the logical judgements he could have otherwise thrown in.

"You have something there, Jungkook?"

"No. Just because."

"Haven't heard a thing. If anything, I'll let you know."
