"A knife?""A knife, yes. Found near the master bedroom of the Song residence. That's where Mrs Song was mostly spending her time around those days."
Jungkook heavily sighed with a frown upon hearing that, resting his head on his fist while leaning on the wall of his room with his cellphone pressed to his ear.
"There is no blood on it, but they've sent it for the forensic analysis. Now this might be a turning point for it all, Jungkook" Yoongi's voice sounded like a diffident whisper, and the lawyer knew this new piece of information would either solve a lot of unsaid queries or end up complicating the entire case even more.
"I will be legally getting the 24-hour footage of the front door's CCTV in a while. Do you want me to mail that to you?" The elder asked and Jungkook nodded, eyes lost somewhere else.
"Oh yes, yes hyung," He mumbled upon registering Yoongi's words. "I've got nothing much to do today anyway," The lawyer added before hanging up, lazily throwing his body on the bed.
Emptily staring at the blank television, he blew a raspberry into the air before chuckling at the ridiculous situation at hand and his laid back attitude at the very moment. He couldn't help it though. It only made sense to have a Sunday to himself after all that had been going on.
His mind although, couldn't rest. He knew that subconsciously he's still trying to figure out where the cards are falling and in whose favour he would be standing in after a while.
It seemed as if everything was slowly turning into something he couldn't quite foresee. There was no hindsight, unlike most other times he handled a case. There couldn't be one.
Perhaps it was a Sunday that had to be spent like one. His eyes closed with his brain and he sighed before turning back towards the television and switching it on.

"Flowers for the distressed lady," Hoseok announced before handing Youra a bunch of the pretty little flowers that were planted on the sides of the entire park.
"Why, thank you?" She breathed out, taking them and laughing with him. She smelled them before scrunching her face and shaking her head at him as a reply.
"Some flowers are meant to be for the beauty, Youra. Not all flowers smell the best. Doesn't mean they won't be called a flower though, does it? Their image in our minds would still be beautiful and pretty."
"That's true." She acknowledged, continuing to stroll next to her closest friend. It hadn't taken her long to realise that Hoseok really did become a safe place— the dynamic man had his own way of dealing with her, and most importantly, he kept his promises. She could feel how being near Hoseok didn't feel like a treatment; it felt like happiness. She didn't feel like she had to be careful all the time around him.
