"Daddy! Wake up!" Peter groaned, a smile on his face as he opened his eyes to see his son. Gerry was still a very active child at the age of three years but he wouldn't have it any way. Peter moved his hand, moving it towards his son's head as he softly patted his head. Peter was happy with his current life, and he wouldn't change anything about it.

"Hey, kiddo…" Peter smiled at his son, as he sat down on the bed. Gerry chuckled a bit before he jumped out of the bed and ran away, making Peter smile at the actions of his kid. Peter got up, a smile in his face as he walked in the same direction that his kid went. Though he stopped by the bathroom to be able to tidy himself up. It didn't take long for Peter to clean himself, and start walking towards the kitchen.

"Morning, my love" Peter gave a loving smile to Jessica Drew, his current partner. They were making it work for their kid, slowly falling in love with each other as they continued to live in the same household. But Peter had already talked to Jessica about having someone else in his life, which she completely understood. "Breakfast?"

"Morning, Jess. And please, I'm starving" Peter sat down next to Gerry, making Gerry widen his eyes in happiness. Peter gave Gerry the biggest smile he could muster, making his kid chuckle a bit. Peter then saw the Wheat Cake plate that Jessica gave him, making him look up towards her with a smile, something that he saw that she reciprocated.

"Enjoy it, Peter… remember that we are going to the Baxter Building to visit Susan and the kids" Jessica stated, making Peter nod as he started to eat. Peter also teased his son, making Gerry yelp in happiness and having Jessica chuckle at his interactions with their son. It was a small but happy family, and he wouldn't change it for anything.

"Give me this…" Peter stood up and took the dirty plates that Jessica had taken from the table. He gave her a stubborn look, making Jessica sigh in defeat. Peter gave Jessica a kiss on her temple as he smirked in victory, carrying the dirty dishes to the kitchen sink. "You have done enough, Jess"

"Thank…" Peter, who was already cleaning the dishes in the sink, suddenly frowned at how sudden Jessica stopped talking. It was not very often that she would do so, making Peter froen a bit further. Something was not right, and he feared what was happening because his senses weren't warning him about anything at all.

"Jess… are you-" As soon as Peter turned around, he dropped the last white plate that he had in hand. Pieces of ceramic crashed around the floor, being mixed with the crimson river that had been created in an instant. He saw how Jessica had an arm passing through her chest, her green eyes already hollowed out. Peter looked a bit further, widening his eyes as he watched what seemed to be a zombified Susan Storm smirking at him.

"You should have listened to me, Peter…" Susan said darkly, a psychotic smile written all over her face as he looked sideways, black blood dripping down her neck. Peter followed her sight, his eyes widening as he watched Ben Grimm, who was also zombified, having a strong hold on his son, who was crying for help.

"Stop! Leave him alone!" Peter tried to move from his place, but he couldn't move. Peter guessed that it was a forcefield created by Susan, who was looking at him with an evil smirk on her face. He watched with teary eyes and with his fists trying to break the invisible forcefield, as The Thing gave his struggling son towards Susan.

"You made your choice, Pete… But you refused" Susan said, anger flowing through her voice as Peter looked at the sight in pain. His heart roared for him to do something, to give it his best to protect his body but something stronger was not letting him move. He had to watch helplessly as Susan salivated at seeing his scared son whimper in her hold. "Now… I'm going to make you see the truth!"

"No!"

With Peter Parker

Peter jumped from the bed he was in, reality sinking in as he tried to calm himself down. Sweat dripped down his forehead as he silently gasped in slight fright. His eyes were wide in fear, as a lone tear was threatening to make its escape. Peter could only move his hands to his temples, massaging them a bit while trying to calm himself down. Though he reacted drastically when he remembered his son.
