"Mommy, can you get sick from eating too much fish?" A brown haired boy named Namjoon asked, skipping over the cracks in the concrete as they walked to his father's workplace. "I believe so, honey. Too much of anything can get you sick." His mother answered, holding onto his small hand. "Even video games?" He tilted his head, looking down at his sneakers. "Especially video games. Even too much broccoli can cause vision problems." Mrs. Kim added on.

"Even green beans?" Namjoon asked. "Yes."

"Even rocks?"

"You can't eat rocks, honey."

"Hm...even water?"

"Especially water."

Namjoon was a constantly confused little eleven year old. Not just because of his 'level two' autism, but because of his parents. His father always brought other women home and when he would ask who they were, he would get money not to tell his mommy.

Namjoon couldn't tie his shoes or decipher left from right, which diagnosed him with dyslexia as well. Counting was his worst enemy. Not just because of his dyslexia, but because his memory was also very poor.

His mother always yelled at his father for accusations of cheating, but it would always fade when his daddy took her to their room. Namjoon was confused why she called him daddy when she normally called him honey, only in their room did she call him daddy- but Namjoon was too scared to ask why.

"Mommy, how far can you count?" He asked as his school came into view. "Numbers go on forever, honey, they never stop." Mrs. Kim answered. "Forever?! What's the biggest number?" Namjoon whined. His enemy would bug him the rest of his life now. "Like I said, numbers go on forever. They never stop, so there is no biggest number." She repeated, rolling her eyes.

"I'll ask Mrs. Min-" "She'll say the same thing, Namjoon, now be quiet." She squeezed his hand and Namjoon huffed, kicking a rock on the ground. "Ow!" He whined out loudly when his foot was met with pain. His mother ignored it and continued walking him to school.
