...thirteen years later...
"Namjoon-ah!" Seokjin looked throughout the house to find the younger. He could hear Jimin and Taehyung play fighting in the kitchen. "Joonie? Ggukie?" Seokjin found Namjoon and Jungkook in the bathroom. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked as he crouched down next to Namjoon. They were both sitting on the floor with their knees to their chest. "Loud." Namjoon mumbled and covered his ears. Seokjin noticed how loud the ninety-five liners were being, and the clanking of the dishes Yoongi was washing out of gratefulness of the recent sleepover.
"I'll be back, Joonie." Seokjin stood up and went to the kitchen. "Yoongi-ya, could you please try to be more quiet?" He asked. "Sorry, hyung." Yoongi apologized. Seokjin went over to Jimin and Taehyung. "Hey, stop it." He separated the two. "You're being too loud for Jeongguk and Namjoon, quiet it down." He gave a warning look to the two, and they looked down shyly. Seokjin huffed and went back to the bathroom.
"Hey, Ggukie," Seokjin laid a hand on the youngest one's knee. Jeongguk looked up with tears in his eyes. "Is this okay?" He asked in a low voice. The apartment was much more quiet. "Thank you, Kim Seokjin hyung." Namjoon said from behind him. Seokjin turned. "You're welcome. Don't feel rushed, take your time. We can surprise Hoseok any time today." Seokjin gave them an encouraging smile, and left the bathroom for them to calm down from the sensory overload.
"Alright, listen up." Seokjin said, catching Yoongi, Jimin, and Taehyung's attention. "Namjoon and Jeongguk are going to calm down first, and then we will go to the hospital to surprise Hoseok on his first day as a surgeon. Yoongi-ya, do you have the cake?" He asked. "Yeah, it's in the freezer." Yoongi nodded. "Jiminie, do you have-" "I have everything we need, hyung." Jimin smiled happily. "Alright. I'll drive Namjoon, Yoongi, and Taehyung. Jimin, if you can drive with Jeongguk that would be great." Seokjin explained. "That's fine." Jimin nodded.
After twenty minutes Namjoon and Jeongguk returned, and they arrived at the hospital where Hoseok was in about thirty minutes.
"We're looking for a Jung Hoseok." Seokjin told the receptionist. "Is he a patient here?" The woman asked as she typed on a computer. "Uh no, he's a doctor. It's his first day here." Jimin told her. "We came to say hi." He smiled sweetly.
The receptionist gave them directions and the six friends ventured in to the room they were given. It was a room full of people with lab coats and cabinets lining the walls. They stood there awkwardly until Hoseok came up to them.
"Hi Hoseok hyung!" Jimin cheered and hugged him tight. "This cake is for you, I picked it out." Namjoon told him, which Seokjin signed for him the best he could. Hoseok smiled and let Jimin go.
"Thank you."
Hoseok signed back as he took the cake from Namjoon. "Be very careful, we almost dropped it." Namjoon laughed. "You look nice in this!" Jimin fixed the white coat around Hoseok with a bright smile. They didn't mind many people were looking at them. Hoseok smiled shyly.
"We don't want to be in your way so we'll be going now. We love you!"
Seokjin signed and Hoseok placed the cake down to hug his best friends. They were like brothers now. They all eventually left the hospital and on their way to the park to relax, Namjoon pulled something out of his pocket. "What do you have there, Joonie?" Seokjin asked. Namjoon was in the passenger. "Peppermint." He unwrapped white chocolate with pieces of peppermint mixed in. "Hungry?" Seokjin chuckled a little. "No, it calms me. It's like a blanket." Namjoon giggled a little. "You're anxious?" Seokjin pouted. "Helps me not stim." Namjoon mumbled as he began to suck on the white chocolate, in Seokjin's opinion, cutely.
"Where are we going again?" Jimin asked. "We're going back to my house to play games." Seokjin reminded him. "Yeah." Jeongguk nodded. Jimin giggled at his bad memory, as Seokjin drove them back to his own house. He had bought it a year ago with the money the city had given him for saving people of the horrible earthquake. Everyone in the city now knew his name.
"Okay, who wants to be banker?" Seokjin asked as he opened the board game. "Me!" Jimin shot his hand up in the air excitedly. "Okay, here." Seokjin handed him the carton of money. "I remember playing Monopoly in math class once." Taehyung smiled as he grabbed the silver hat piece.
"I wanna be the cat!" Jimin reached for the piece and smiled as he placed it down. Everyone chose their piece and the game began. Taehyung was acting off, spaced out, but Jin didn't want to ruin the other's good moods.
"Your turn." Jeongguk handed the dice to Namjoon. "I hope I can get free parking." Namjoon said as he picked up and rolled the dice. Free parking was far away from Namjoon's character, there was no way he could but no one said anything. Namjoon stared at the two dice for a few seconds and then began moving the wheel barrel piece. "Twelve, boom!" He landed on free parking and eagerly grabbed all the cash in the middle. "Yah I was only four spaces away!" Jimin and Taehyung whined and Jin smirked. "Maybe you should rolled a four then." Jin took the dice and handed it to Taehyung. Taehyung rolled the dice and the two numbers added up to three. "Dang it!"
"My turn isn't for a while, I'm going to go get a drink. Anyone want anything?" Seokjin asked as he stood up, stretching. No one really said anything so Seokjin went to his kitchen to grab something to drink, the other male's voices fading out behind him.
He grabbed a glass and opened the fridge, and when his hand grabbed the carton of milk, everything went black.
