Seokjin and Jimin walked into the specific riverside hotel, just before the outside of Ilsan into Daegu. Looking around, Jimin was quick to spot Yoongi. "There, Seokjin hyung!" Jimin gently pulled him over to the black haired male, sitting alone at one of the tables. Jimin surprised the male with his loud volume. It was the hardest thing to control for Jimin.
"Oh I'm sorry Seokjin hyung, I shouldn't have pulled you." Jimin let go of Seokjin's hand. "It's alright, Jiminie." Seokjin shook his head, smiling. They walked over to Yoongi and sat down in front of him. "Hi, I'm Jimin." Jimin out stretched his hand, a wide smile across his face. "Hi..." Yoongi didn't shake his hand so Jimin retracted it awkwardly. "Seokjin." Seokjin introduced himself. "We should all be friends." Jimin said out loud. "We're the flower shop earthquake survivors." He joked. "The whole town of Ilsan is calling us the special ones, might as well just do that." Yoongi shrugged.
Yoongi noticed the awkward atmosphere. "Sorry, I'm quite tired and in some pain, I tend to get grumpy." He rubbed his head and looked back up to Seokjin. "Um, I really just want to thank you-" "Why are you in pain?" Jimin interrupted. Yoongi looked at him. "Did you get any sleep last night?" Jimin asked. "It's hard to sleep." Yoongi only answered one question. He turned back to Seokjin. "I just thought it would be nice to thank you in person." He told him. "You don't need to thank me, really. It was an instinct." Seokjin shook his head gently. "Well-" "Hey, it's him!" Jimin suddenly perked up. The two male's followed Jimin's eye and saw one of the brown haired boys from the flower shop.
It was the one at the counter that Jimin bumped into, and had a delayed payment. "I'm going to go say hi and bring him over her-" "Jimin, wait." Seokjin grabbed his arm. "Not everyone in that shop could be safe people. He could be dangerous." He told him. "Seokjin hyung, mean people aren't in small flower shops. I want to say hi." Jimin pulled away and went over to the man. Yoongi and Seokjin watched carefully.
"Hi!" Jimin smiled. The man jumped. "Oh, you scared me." He told him. "Sorry...do you remember me, from Mr. Lim's Petals?" Jimin asked. "I really do!" The man smiled. "I'm hanging out with two other people who were in the shop when it happened, would you like to come with me?" Jimin asked. The man hesitated. "I promise we aren't killers or anything." He laughed. "Why would you want to kill me?" The taller one asked. Jimin shrugged. "Would you like to come with me?" He asked again. "Sure, I will." He agreed.
Jimin returned to the tall table and sat down next to Seokjin. Each introduced themselves. "What's your name?" Jimin asked him. "Namjoon. I am Kim Namjoon." He announced. He talked a little strange but neither one said anything. He wore a brown sweater with tan khakis, and blue slip-on shoes. He looked older than he acted. "How old are you?" Yoongi asked. "Twenty-five." Namjoon answered. "I'm twenty-six." Yoongi told them. "Twenty-seven." Seokjin commented. "Twenty-four!" Jimin called out, smirking. It was dark outside so there wasn't many people in the lobby this time, except the receptionist at the desk.
"Jimin, could you please lower your tone?" Yoongi asked, looking down. "I'm sorry, I will hyung. It's hard for me to control my volume with ADHD." Jimin lowered his voice. He remembered Yoongi telling him that he was tired and in slight pain. "It's okay, it's just late." Yoongi smiled softly.
While Seokjin and Namjoon were talking, Yoongi's ears started to ring and his vision blinked silver and blue. His head pounded even harder than before and the room felt like it was spinning. Knowing what was about to happen Yoongi tried focusing on Seokjin's words to stop it, but this time it seemed unpreventable. Yoongi felt light and before he knew it his body slipped right out of the chair and he collapsed to the floor.
"Yoongi?!" Seokjin jumped up and rushed to the other side of the table. "Yoongi!" He crouched down when he saw that Yoongi was unconscious and foaming at the mouth. His volume attracted the attention of the receptionist at the counter and she ran over to the male laying on the floor. Jimin stood up and went to Seokjin's side. He got out his phone and dialed one-one-nine when Yoongi started to jerk and shake like he was having a seizure. "Onto his side!" The receptionist and Seokjin turned Yoongi onto his side, and more white foam flowed out of his mouth. It sounded like he was choking, and the way his body was twitching and jerking, he was definitely having a seizure.
Worried and not knowing what to do, all Jimin could do was stay on the line with the operator on the phone. "Is he on his side?" She asked. "Yes, we moved him onto his side, he's foaming on the carpet-" "Place something soft under his head and move all sharp and/or solid objects away from him to prevent harm." The operator advised him.
Jimin took off his hoodie and folded it under Yoongi's head. It wasn't much but it was something. Seokjin pushed his chair away from his kicking feet.
"How long has it been lasting?" Jimin was asked. "Um, maybe about thirty seconds-" "That's okay, try to time it, it will help the paramedics and whoever treats him at the hospital. Some seizures can last a few minutes and if he stops breathing once he stops it's okay, he will start breathing again on his own soon. Don't put anything in his mouth or try to keep him still, and don't worry if his face goes a little blue," It was happening as the lady spoke. "Does he suffer from any type of Epilepsy or-" "I've only known him about ten minutes, I don't know. We were just talking and he collapsed." Jimin's voice trembled but he was holding back from crying. "Alright, just try and stay calm, help is on the way."
The hotel manager came rushing over from the elevator down the hall, and another staff.
Before Jimin knew it, about two minutes later Yoongi stilled, his body calming down. He was still breathing, shallowly, and his face had returned to the normal pale color before. "Yoongi?" Seokjin asked.
"He stopped." Jimin told the operator, his heart pounding fast in his chest. "H-he's still breathing." He added. "That's good. If you could and your hands are sanitized, open his mouth and use your fingers to make sure there's no vomit or spit blocking his airway in his throat." The operator told him. Jimin got up and walked over to the desk and put his phone on the surface for a second, and used one pump of hand sanitizer to spread around his hands. Memories of when he would taste hand sanitizer as a child filled his head. It was the worst thing to ever touch his tongue, and he would hate to force someone else to taste it, but Yoongi's life seemed to be on the line. Once his hands had dried he walked back over and sat in front of Yoongi. He was still unconscious.
Just before he set his phone down again, there was an ambulance outside and Yoongi's eyelids twitched. "Yoongi hyung?" Jimin called out. He seemed to be waking up from the sirens outside.
Paramedics rushed in and the manager guided them over to Yoongi. Everyone backed up to give them room, and they cleared away the spit and salvia from his mouth and made sure his airway was clear. Jimin hung up his phone after telling the operator help was there.
Very carefully they lifted Yoongi up onto a stretcher, and just then did his eyes open. "Sir, can you hear me?" The male paramedic asked as he looked into Yoongi's eyes. Yoongi remained silent. "Sir, you had a seizure, and we're going to take you to the hospital right now, okay? You're going to be alright." He told him, and they started to wheel him away.
Seokjin, Jimin, and Namjoon weren't sure whether to follow or not. "I want to follow with him, do any of you want to come?" Seokjin asked. "I do." Jimin nodded. "Namjoon?" Seokjin turned to him. "Um..." Namjoon seemed a little shocked at what just happened. Seokjin grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down his number and name. "Namjoon, that's my number if you want to continue talking- and Jimin's." He added Jimin's phone number. Namjoon held the paper awkwardly. "Okay..." Was all he said.
Jimin and Seokjin left the hotel and got into Seokjin's car, and they followed the ambulance to the hospital.
