BRANDON HAD PRACTICED OVER AND OVER HOW HE was gonna break the devastating news to his fiancée.
He had gone through various situations in his head where he told her that he was cheating but nothing seemed to be the perfect way.
Or at least a way that hurt Kimberly the least.
Brandon had done mental simulations of different ways: telling her straight up, breaking it to her in public and last but not least, making it a group effort by bringing Sunday along too.
None of them were right but all of them ended with Kimberly verbally assaulting Brandon and some cases, physically as well.
I might not be in love with her anymore but I don't want to put salt in the wound either.
Brandon already felt guilty enough about his actions and he was hoping, albeit selfishly, that he could come out of this without Kimberly completely hating him.
Brandon walked through the front door of his home, a little tired from an extremely long day still.
At the sound of someone else sniffling and sobbing, Brandon stopped abruptly in the foyer of the first floor.
