Side story 2 where Dabi has a good relationship with Shoto.
*Hawks pov*
I set Aiko down in her crib careful not wake her up, she chirps quietly before relaxing into the bed and wrapping her wings around herself. I smiled and covered her with a blanket.
I walked out and sighed while stretching, 'I'm so tired' I thought.
Hino and and Asu ran up to me "Hey Ma! Can we go do something?" They asked in unison. I grumbled "what? Right now?" I asked tiredly while yawning.
"Yeah! Please?" They replied.
I was going to respond but Dabi walked in and answered for me. "Your mom is tired, go out yourselves", He said blunty. I grabbed the thing closest to me, a book. I throw the book at his face "we're not sending the children out on their own" I said annoyed.
Dabi burned the book while rubbing his nose in pain "what? I use to go out alone at their age" Dabi said.
I put my hand on my hip "yeah and look how you turned out". Dabi stared at me "wha- ugh fine, they can go out with shoto and his little green boyfriend then." He replied.
"At least ask Shoto if he wants to before you dump our kids on them"
"Yeah yeah whatever" Dabi said while walking away.
I sighed "it's like having 4 kids instead of 3"
"I heard that!", he yelled from down the hall.
"We're gonna hang out with uncle Shoto!?" Hino asked excited.
"If he's free to..." I replied
Aus smirked "haha...cool"
*meanwhile in the bedroom*
Dabi: *calls shoto*
Shoto: *picks up*
Shoto: hello?
Dabi: you're taking my kids out for the day, be here in 10 minutes. Bye
Shoto: wait wha-
Dabi: *hangs up*
Dabi walks back into the living room "he said he'd gladly take the kids out for the day"
I smiled "I guess you two will go out with uncle Shoto today"
They both jumped up and yelled in excitement and ran to their rooms to get ready.
I turned to Dabi after the boys left and my smiled faded "you didn't ask, you ordered him didn't you?"
Dabi sheepishly smiled "maybe?"
I sighed and grabbed another book to throw, but he ran away while yelling "you can't hit me if you can't see me!"
I grumbled as flopped down onto the couch.
*10 minutes later*
(Still hawks pov)
I heard the doorbell ring and I stood up from the couch to answer.
I opened the door to see Shoto, he stood there awkwardly scratching the back of his neck. "Uh, I'm here for your offsprings?" he said.
"Right let's never say that again" I said while smiling before calling for Hino and Asuka.
They came racing down the stairs pushing one another.
"Hi uncle shoto!" Hino yelled excitedly
Asuka slightly raised his chin in the air "sup dude"
I smacked his head straight, "Ow! what the" I cut him off, "manners, thank you" I gave him a warning smile.
He rubbed the back of his head and grumbled "hello uncle Shoto..."
Shoto stood there awkwardly "hi..."
We all stood there in silence for 5 seconds.
I awkwardly laughed and grabbed my kids, "right you three should get going, I'm sure you have busy plans for today!" I shoved them out the door, "have fun! Be back late- I mean, take your time! No rush! K bye!" I shut the door.
I paused forgetting something.
I swung open the door and grabbed my boys' heads and giving them a forehead kiss. "Be safe! Bye!"
I shut the door once again and head to the room where I see Dabi watching the boys walk away with his brother. He has a small smile on his face.
I hug him from behind, "what are you thinking about?"
"Nothing, just the fact that my children have the same quirks as shoto"
I smiled, "well Hinokami has your power, Asuka has his ice quirk, Shoto can always train him while you train Hino"
"That's not gonna happen" he replied
I sighed "stop being so afraid to ask someone else for help, it gets in the way of things Toya"
"Where's Aiko?" He changed the subject
"She's asleep, why are you avoiding-" he cut me off
"What about Peter?" He said
"Cut it out! You don't even like Peter for starters. And why do you keep avoiding the subject" I said
He turned to me "I don't know what you're talking about..."
I looked up at him, "yes you-"
He cut me off once again "of course I like Peter, he's a cool a bunny"
I stared at him annoyed "I give up, you don't want to talk? Fine" I left the room, slamming the door being me and headed to Aiko's room, only to find Peter asleep under her wing.
I smiled, not feeling as annoyed as I was just a second ago. 'Cute' I thought.

I'm so sorry I've been gone, I've been busy with college applications and my clubs and school work in general, plus I've had major writers block.
