Brantley’s POV:
Since being home, Bailey and I have hardly left the house. The only time that we had left the house other than to go to Mama’s was when she made a doctor's appointment so that I could hear my son’s heartbeat. Yes, my son. When I found out that she was having a boy, I cried like a baby. If any of the guys had been around, I’m pretty sure that they would never let me live it down. Afterall, I was country music's bad boy. I wasn't supposed to cry. Tears would fuck up my bad boy image and well, that just wanst good for business. I could already see my ticket sales dropping if my fans knew I was a big old softy when it came to matters of the heart and my family.
Mama had been ecstatic when we told her. She cried her heart out especially when Bailey told her that the doctors had told her she would never be able to have kids. Kolby had already started planning out what he was going to teach my little man as he got older. Chase is meeting us here at the house today so he can catch the bus with us to Vegas for the summer leg of the tour. Bailey had already agreed to tell him before the others since he was part of the reason that she and I were even together to begin with. He had been the one to encourage me to take a chance on her after I had told him about the shit-show that was my life when I had freaked out when she wanted more in the very beginning. Even the past few months, Chase had been the one that had been telling me over and over that I just needed to find her and tell her how I was feeling. Long story short, Chase had become more than a friend to me, he was my brother from another mother. Mama had even started calling him her son even though she had only met him once.
My phone buzzing in the coffee table pulled me from my thoughts. Looking down, I saw that it was Chase with a Facetime request. Rolling my eyes, I hit the button to accept the call. What I wasn't expecting was to see Brinleigh’s smiling face on the other end of the call.

“Brin, what's up?” I said sitting back on the couch.

“Oh nothing much. Just packing.” said Brinleigh. In the background, I could see Chase’s duffle. “For me and Chase.”

“Where you going sweetheart?” I asked.

“With Chase on the road.” She replied, smiling at me. “And before you panic, Mama Con has agreed to keep Daniel Knox and Brody Weston so your bus won't be overrun with baby shit, ummmm stuff. Plus, I need some girl time with Bailey. I need a night out and what better place than in Vegas.”

“Well Brin, you know you're more than welcome to join Chase and you know the boys are more than welcome to come too. I mean I do need some Uncle B time with those guys soon.” I said, purposely omitting the part about her and Bailey having a girls night.

“Brantley Keith, you have lost your ever-loving mind if you think that I am going to fly back with two babies by myself. I’m only coming out for the Vegas show and then going back home the weekend. As far as you getting Uncle B time, that can be arranged if what I have planned works out.” Said Brinleigh.

“What are you up to girl? Chase know your scheming?” I asked.

“Hell yeah he does. Hell, this whole thing was his idea.” said Brinleigh.

“Where is Chase anyway?” I asked.

“He’s changing the boys. I get their shitty diapers while he's on the road so it's only fair that when he’s home, he gets them. It's hilarious to me though that they both seem to have blowouts at the same time when he’s home.” Said Brineligh, laughing. “Where's that girl of yours? I figured you wouldn't let her out of your sight since yall are back together and all.”

“Bailey is taking a nap. She’s still trying to get caught up with sleep after overworking herself the past few months.” I said lying through my teeth. But there was no way that I was going to spoil Chase’s surprise. Just works out even better that Brinleigh was coming out with him. Baileyhad planned on Facetiming Brinleigh as we told Chase. “Poor thing was running on fumes when I finally caught up with her and we were able to talk.”

“Oh I'm sure. I’d called her a few times but she wouldn't answer. I think she thought that it would be Chase and that you had put him up to it since she wouldn't answer your calls. But if she was in as bad a shape as Chase says you were, I can only imagine how she was feeling. Anyways, we should be leaving here in about thirty minutes give or take, which will put us there somewhere close to 6:00. Don’t tell Bailey-boo-boo I'm coming. I want to surprise you with that tequila I promised. Make sure yall have plenty of salt and limes!” Said Brinleigh as she threw more clothes into the duffle she had been packing.

“Will do Brinny.” I smirked back at her knowing that she hated that nickname. The fact that she let me get by for the most part calling her that spoke to our relationship. She and Chase were dating when he was first signed and from the very beginning, she had become the little sister that I never had.

“You know you only get to call me that because I think of you as a brother right, Brant-bear?” she said as she called me by the ridiculous nickname that she had given me months ago.

“I know. And you get by calling me that ridiculous ass shit for the same reason.” I said laughing.

“Alright, Well I better go check on Chase and make sure he ain’t still elbow deep in baby shit. We’ll see y'all in a few hours.” said Brinleigh as she ended the call without saying goodbye.

I couldn't help laughing to myself thinking about the storm that was Brinleigh Rice. More than once I had heard her put Chase in his place when his ego needed checking. She didn't put up with his shit. Hell for that matter she didn't put up with anyone’s shit. I had even seen her throw hands. And well, Brinny fought like an inmate. Yep, she was definitely my sister from another mister.
