Ryder
I saw her walk in. She looked extremely beautiful without even making much of an effort. She looked way hotter than girls who wore tiny Barbie dresses.

Her friend, Piper walked in with her. I wanted to talk to her but I couldn't walk even towards her.

"Oh Charlie's here!" Nancy said. Drew, Reece, and I were sitting on some couches in the corner.

I'm could see from the corner of my eye that Drew was eyeing Charlie. I wanted to punch his face, again.

There was a small faint bruise from last time. I apologized about three times, and he eventually accepted.
Bros before hoes is what they say.
I didn't regret punching him though.

~Flashback~
"Charlie." Drew finally said.
I knew it. Deep down in my gut. It kept telling me that Drew liked her but I wanted to ignore it, I needed to ignore that gut feeling.

I felt the urge of breaking Drew into pieces and running towards Charlie and kissing her until the end of time.
I realized that I was being delusional. Charlie would never be with me, after she finds out what I really do and am.

Drew might be similar to me, but he doesn't race as much as I do. He's more of a spectator and Leo isn't onto Drew.

I know Drew wouldn't hurt her. I would.
As much as I wanted to be with her, I couldn't.
And I had a million reasons.

One, she would most likely be afraid of who I am. She wouldn't talk to me.
Two, she's probably better off with Drew. He won't hurt her.
Three, she probably likes him which makes me want to kill Drew.
Four, I had that teenage boy attitude that I can't even admit to myself my own feelings.

Everyone cheered for Drew, that is Nancy and Reece, but Nancy didn't seem as convinced as Reece was.

I imagined Drew and Charlie, together, with kids. It made my blood boil and if I were a cartoon, smoke would be coming out of my head.

I knew this was jealousy, I just didn't want to admit it. So let's say I was pissed off. Very pissed off.

What I did next, was unexpected even by me.
My fists landed straight in Drew's jaw.
"What the fuck man?!" He yelled.
He tried to punch me back but Reece held on to him.

"Bro calm down. What the fuck was that about Ryder?" He said.

"Nothin. Drew I'm sorry man." I said.

"Fuck you. Are you mad or jealous I like Charlie too Ryder?" He said.

I turned away. All three of them waited for my response.

"I don't like her." I snapped.
"I don't believe you." He said rubbing his jaw.

"I don't care what you fucking believe. I don't like her. She's just our friend. But you better not hurt her, or I will fucking haunt you down Altani." I spat.

"Ryder if you like her too, it's okay. It's fine. If she likes you too, I'm cool with it." Drew said sincerely. A part of me believed him.

I wanted to tell him that I didn't know exactly what I felt. I don't know how I feel about her.
But the words couldn't slip out of my mouth.

"I don't. Go ahead." I said extending my hand out.
He shook it.

"Great boys. Now we have a party to plan." Nancy said. She didn't say anything between the discussion.

"Great. Sorry again. I don't know what came up to me." I nodded my head giving them a small smile.

"It's fine bro. We get it. Leo is after Charlie and you're taking precautions." Reece said. Drew nodded.
