__________
Charlie
My dad's been worried, and so has Piper and Carter, but they don't know anything. They're not going to know anything.

It hurts to breathe. He betrayed me.
My mother died in the hands of the enemy.

I hate Leo, more than I already did. I want him ten feet underground. Dead.

It hurts to know that the only person I trusted, didn't tell me anything.
It's true what they say, "you can only trust your family."

It's been three days since I've seen his lying face.
I can't be at home, knowing that they don't know that my mom was killed.

I want to tell them, but I can't. Not yet. I don't want them to be mad at anyone.

I can't believe she was killed, murdered, and that scum is still free. I somehow knew that the accident had something to it. I just knew it.

There was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it." I told my brother who was watching tv and he nodded.

Nancy, Reece and Drew where outside. I rolled my eyes and glared at them. They knew about it too.

"What do you want?" I snapped.

"Charlie we're super sorry." Nancy said.
"Doesn't matter. You guys didn't tell me, and you know, that's a huge disappointment." I said.

"I told him to tell you, he didn't listen. He was selfish." Drew muttered.

"He's not the only one. How long have you three known this? Answer me!" I yelled.

"We want to apologize. It was wrong, I know but we did it for your own good--"

I scoffed, "knowing things is for my own good. You should of told me, and I would of decided if it was good or bad on my own."

"Ryder's worried about you." Nancy muttered.

"Okay." I said no emotion spilling from my voice. They were surprised, I really don't care right now anyway.

"If that's all you needed to say, goodbye. I have things to do." I said starting to close the door as they walked away, but Reece stood still.
"What do you want Reece?" I sighed.

"Tell him." He said.

"About?" I raised a brow.
"Chase. You haven't told him."

The color drained from my face, I completely forgot about that. I told Reece I'd tell Ryder in a week time, it's been weeks now.

"No. I don't need him anywhere near me. You better not tell him." I snapped.

"Making no promises. I'm sorry about your mom." He said quietly. I nodded, completely shutting the door.

"Charlie what's wrong?" Carter asked turning off the tv.

"I--" I couldn't continue my sentence for I broke down in Carter's arms.

"Ryder kept something from me. He lied to me." I said through sobs.

"I'm here. I'll go kick his ass. He's making my little sister cry." He said hugging me tighter.

"Don't, it's fine. I handled him." I said wiping some tears off.

"That's my sis." He chuckled.
"I can't stay here though." His face got pale.

"What do you mean?"

"He's going to look for me, and I don't want to see him yet." I said but truthfully, I couldn't look at Carter and my dad knowing they're clueless about my moms murder.
