*Angelina's POV*
Another blonde lady sat behind a grey counter looking busy and bored as she looked up at me stepping out of the elevator. I gave her a weak smile.
"Good afternoon, how may I assist you?" The blonde says making it pretty clear she didn't want to help or assist me in anyway, but she did offer.
"Good afternoon, I am here to speak to Mr. Alexander Steele." I reply feeling a little nervous and regretful of this interview.
"You are Miss Cash-?"
"Um, no. I'm actually here to take her place for the interview." I say as she typed something on her computer.
"And you're...?" Jeez... I thought Chloe would have already told them.
"I'm Miss Angelina Pryce." I say proudly.
The woman looks up at me with interest.
"You mean world breaking Olympian and symphony icon Angelina Pryce?" She asks finally looking at me with interest and as if it's the first she has actually notice me since I arrived.
"Yes, but can you keep it on a low." I whisper with my palm in a downward motion as I lean over the counter.
"Of course, Miss Pryce. You do know you are on the cover of almost every magazine today?" She says passing me a stack of today's magazine.
Holy Moses. I silently cursed myself of not looking in the magazines this morning and Chloe couldn't even tell me."No." I reply a little embarrassed of not knowing about it first, but having to be told by a stranger.
"Oh," she says before picking up the receiver to her ear. "You may be seated." She gestured to the comfortable black chairs with a large glass coffee table.
"Oh, thank you." I say before taking a seat in one of the chairs.
I was looking out at the perfect view of the horizon through the glass window when I was interrupted by another blonde.
"Miss Pryce?" Blonde 3 asks.
"Yes," I say my voice deliberately clipped.
"Would you like something to drink?" She asks.
"I would like a glass of iced water." I reply.
She nodded before walking off. I look back at the perfect view of the skyline when I heard her come back.
"Well, that was fast," I say as I turn towards her. "Thank you." I say accepting the glass of water on a napkin.
"You're welcome, Miss Pryce," she says before walking away, again.
I take a few refreshing tastes of the ice water to calm down my nerves a little.
"Miss Pryce, you may enter now." Blonde 2 call.
I immediately leave the glass of water abandoned on the coffee table and make my way inside Mr. Steele's office. I stand in front of the double modern black doors to take in some well needed gulps of air before pushing the door open.
I totally did not expect what I saw behind the door. Maybe a little, but never this good-looking or handsome. That is probably the understatement of the year, but that is expected. I was never good at descriptions outside English class. I felt the air get stuck in my throat. He seemed a little taken back as well, but quickly recovered making me wonder if it was just a play of my imagination.
"Miss Pryce, it's a honor to meet you," he says standing up to his full length. "Please take a seat." He gestures to the chairs in front of his desk as he sat back down.
