*Angelina's POV*
"Well, you're up early," Chloe says sarcastically without looking up from her celebrity magazine.
"I know," I reply as I drag my feet to the kitchen and look about some coffee. "Do you know what time it is? I can't find my phone and I'm too lazy to look."
"Well," she says taking out her phone. "My phone is saying it's a quarter to seven."
"That's early..." I stop myself from continuing to speak. "I am late!"
Holy Fuck!
I am to meet Andre this morning and I haven't even showered. Immediately, I abandon my coffee and head straight to the bathroom.
"Do you want me to take out your clothes?" She calls after me.
"Thank you!" I shout back, my voice a little muffled by the walls and door.
I hop in the shower not bothering to wait until the water warm up to start to bathe. Thankfully, we have a great heater and the water was warm as I take my shower. Stepping out with hair wrapped in a towel and having on a robe, I go into my room seeing Chloe taking out the clothes and drop them on my bed.
"Thanks," I say to her, thanking her for not going into my lingerie drawers, but I don't think she knows that.
"I don't understand," Chloe begins laying down on my bed. "Why are you in such a rush to meet this guy? It's not like he is Mr. CEO."
I shrug as I put on the white jeans pants and blue blouse. "I told him I would and you know I don't break my word. It would haunt me forever."
"You didn't give him your word, Lily," she says and I roll my eyes. I hate it when she calls me by my middle name. "You're just being hard on yourself and I don't know why you even agreed to meet him. It's obvious you don't like him."
"Chloe," I scold putting my hair into a ponytail, not even brushing it. "I never said I didn't like him."
"I didn't say you did," she says, mimicking my tone. "I said it's obvious you don't like him. You know, I should be a lawyer."
"Whatever," I say grabbing my car key and wallet. "Later. I will see you at class."
"Yeah, yeah," she waves me off. "Just make sure you bring me a cup of coffee. I am going to need to keep awake when you're talking about this 'not date'. I hope you're not leading him on though."
I roll my eyes, a little more amused by her behavior rather than annoyed. To Chloe, Mr. Steele is the guy I should be with just because he matches all the qualities of a knight suited for me. I don't know where in the world she gets that from, but once Chloe makes up her mind about something, no one can change it. She is that stubborn and I am not in the mood to waste time and my breath arguing with her. There's a reason why I am becoming a doctor than a lawyer.
I don't take out my car, but walk towards the coffee shop instead. Starbucks isn't that far away anyways. The walk there was hot as usual, but I wasn't that worried about my armpits sweating. My deodorant was doing a great job and it's not like I wanted to impress Andre in anyway. It was pretty much the opposite.
My eyes search the sea of people passing by as I walk down the sidewalk. I am taking a risk doing this since paparazzo seem to love taking as much pictures they can of me. I don't see why they love to harass me. It's not fun, but before I can change my mind and turn around to go back to my apartment, I am standing in front of Starbucks.
I look through the windows to see if I can spot Andre, but there is no such luck. Or probably good luck since I won't have to sit at the window out in the open for paparazzo even though I hardly come out without make up and a wig or my hair dyed a different color. It is all with the fame.
