The air whistled next to me as i swung from building to building in the new bright day of NYC, hoping to catch some crime.
"What have you got for me today New York?" i said to myself as a helicopter shot between me and Oscorp Tower.
"Reporting live from New York 1 Chopper. An Oscorp truck carrying Plutonium has been hijacked. A police chase is in progress..." explained a reporter from a chopper hovering over me as i swung to the reported criminals.
"Alright lets get to work!" i shouted to myself again as i shot a web towards a nearby building.

Peter was late. He was late to our frickin graduation. I swear to god if that boy's swinging between buildings again he's in trouble. My head hung low as my leg bounced underneath my graduation gown. I looked up towards where my boyfriend was supposed to be seated, my anxiety pushing me to bite at my lip. That's when i decided enough was enough, so i decided to call him.
"Peter?" i asked quietly into my phone.
"Hey! Err.. sorry im running a bit late i got stuck in some traffic" he replies, lying terribly. I looked around, noticing the ceremony was about to begin.
"Your timing is terrible, its started already" i replied, desperately needing him to show up before his name is called.
"I know I'm sorry"
"Where are you?" i ask him quickly.
"Err... 1st on Broadway- 2nd on Broadway- 3rd on Broadway- err.. 5 minutes. 10 tops!" he rambles on through the phone.
"Are those sirens?" i ask him as i hear the familiar sound blare in the background.
"...no" he replies sheepishly.
"Peter?..." i ask more sternly this time.
"No sirens-"
"Peter!"

"no- " i start before being cut off by my spidey-sense. I snap my head to look in the direction its coming from.
"Peter? What is happening?" i hear Bailey ask but her voice fades out. That's when i see him. Her father. In the car next to the one i am currently holding onto. He looks over at me with the same look he always held. My thoughts are taken back to that night. It reminds me of the promise i made to him. To keep Bailey out of this life. But i went against his wishes.
As soon has he had appeared, he was gone. I'm jolted back into reality by the blaring sirens and flashing lights.
"Peter? Hello??" Bailey continues.
"I'll be right there, i promise." i tell her before hanging up the phone.
This is gonna be harder than i expected i thought to myself.

"-this year's Valedictorian... please welcome... Gwen Stacy" he announces as everyone breaks into an applause, whilst she makes her way up the stage for her speech.
That's when i started to zone out. I knew Gwen went to our school but we were never really friends. We exchanged conversations once or twice but nothing really special to call each other friends. We were acquaintances at best. I did sometimes see her talk to Peter but i thought nothing of it. He ignored her just as much as i.
During Gwens speech, i kept glancing every 2 seconds over at Peters chair. He still wasn't here.
Gwen finished up her speech and they started handing out our diplomas.
