"Love of my life, you've hurt me
You've broken my heart
And now you leave me
Love of my life, can't you see?
Bring it back, bring it back
Don't take it away from me
Because you don't know
What it means to me"
A soft voice sung as her hands twisted each stem of each daisy. The darkness of the night blanketed her, the light of the moon her only source of light. Her back rested on the body of a tree while she sat on the green grass.
Times like this were what made her calmer than ever. The air, the sounds, everything about the forest made her calm. And she was sure it was only because she had never been the recieving end of its wrath.
Her singing combined huming came to a halt once the flowers turned into a crown of flowers. Without any regard to the order or style, she placed the crown of Daisies on her head. And after a satisfied sigh, she stood from the ground and picked up the bouquet of flowers.
If she was asked what was her favourite thing to do, she'll answer this. Picking flowers in the middle on the night, with her blue and gray jumper on, and a flower crown on her head. With the song still being hummed by her, she took even paced steps towards the nearby castle. Her home.
The halls were dark, and she was thankful for the wand she tucked in her pocket because without it, she would have been blindlessly walking in the dark. Instead, she's walking with the light from her wand and the complaints from the paintings.
She used to feel terrible about disturbing their sleep but seeing how they talk too people, she feels no sympathy for them whatsoever.
Suddenly, booming footsteps echoed through the hall, immediately she paused. Her ears were pealed for any other sign of whoever was running, and she was relieved to hear absolute silence. So with quicker paced steps, she continued on her way.
But she was thrown off guard when she bumped into a rather strong wall. She took steps back, trying to shake off the effects of the impact. When she took a peak at what threw her off her tracks, she was surprised to see no walls but a boy. An attractive one.
His brown eyes were wide as he stared at her with utter shock. No eyes have been more expressive then his. She didn't only see shock but also panic. As if, she wasn't supposed to be there with him. And if she was gonna be honest, neither of them were supposed to be there.
"Moony- oh"
Briskly, she spun around to see the owner of the voice. It was Sirius Black. And then she realized it. She had been caught in the middle of a Marauders' prank. The thought itself made her bite her lip out of anxiety.Throughout her time there, she knew the Marauders to be no good. Especially with the pranks thrown at her by two of its members. So with hesitance, she turned back towards the third member. The boy she bumped into, the boy who caught her in the middle of her midnight travels.
Remus Lupin.
""It seems we've both caught each other red-handed." She said
"It seems so. I'm sure my reasoning is more... Proffesor McGonagall angering though."
"I won't tell if you won't."
"My mouth is shut."
"Have fun." And with her final comment, she walked away. With the hopes of never hearing this again and with the admiration for the totally cute Gryffindor he just bumped into.
