Remus Lupin

"It's a full moon tomorrow. You seem to be in a good mood."
Dumbledore commented as he sat on his chair behind his desk, whilst Remus sat on the smaller chair in front of his desk.

"It's only because of good news and good friends Professor."
He didn't miss the corner of the Headmaster's lips that lifted up before he spoke.

"Yes, good people on your side can do miraculous things Mr.Lupin. Good people such as Ms.Campbell and yourself."

"Professor what are you calling me for?"
Remus asked.

"I only wish to know who knows of your condition?"
At that moment Remus realized he never really told the headmaster that the boys know of his condition.

"Only Sirius, James, and Peter sir."

"Not Ms.Campbell?"
He questioned with a raised brow. Remus paused, the thought of the Headmaster noticing the two making him a bit embarrassed.

"No Headmaster."

"I suggest you tell her before circumstances become more.. intimate and it'll become more difficult."
Remus blushed, the Headmaster's words only confirmed he knew of the feelings floating in the atmosphere of Arabella and Remus. Just in time the door opened and in came Professor McGonagall.

"Mr.Lupin, Madame Pomfrey wishes to see you."
She stated, earning a nod from Remus and making him stand up to start his journey to the hospital wing.

"Purple lilacs are beautiful aren't they Mr.Lupin?"
Dumbledore asked with a taunting smile.

"Yes, Headmaster, they are very beautiful."
With a confused expression, he made his way to the hospital wing.

Purple lilacs...

"I'm telling you, Minnie, it'll only take a nudge to get those two together."

"Albus! I'm certain it'll take the next term to tell each other their feelings."

"Wanna bet?"
Meanwhile, the boy who had just left was oblivious to the conversation of the two in charge of the school he walks in.

Remus woke up to once again, a sore body and loud arguing.

"You broke his trust, Sirius!"

"Yeah, but I didn't think he'd actually snoop, and if he did he would've been better d-"

"What's going on?"
Remus muttered, painfully sitting up a bit. All three pairs of eyes landed on him, each filled with conflict and worry. He took a glance at the window and only saw the dark of the night with stars and the moon, he was surprised at how long he slept.

Silence filled the room while Remus scanned each and one of their expressions to gain context of what was happening, it seemed he interrupted something important.

"Campbell dropped by earlier with some chocolate."
Peter added and finished with a chuckle, which sounded forced. He seemed to be trapped in the middle of whatever tension there was before Remus woke up, Remus was pretty sure Peter was relieved he was awake already.

"Sirius has something to say."
James grumbled frigidly, shoving Sirius forward much more aggressively than usual.

"Whatever I will say, promise you won't get mad?"
He asked, he seemed more panicked than usual, his tight hold on his shirt said so.

"Alright. I promise I won't get too mad."
Remus assured with a chuckle,

I'm pretty sure it won't be that bad.
