I couldn't sleep, despite having the warmest shower ever and a warm glass of milk, I couldn't sleep. Flashbacks of yesterday kept replaying back in my head.

So I've been baking.

Since 2am.

Right now it's 10am.

I don't know why anyone isn't awake yet. I finished cleaning up and I look at the bakes that lay on the counters, and tables.

There was over fifty tins of brownies and two chocolate cakes.

"Cake! Cake!" Morgan squeals in excitement, running over to the tables.

"Cake..- lots of cake.." Pepper gasps.

"Yay!" Brooke grins.

I see everyone walking out, their eyes widen at the cakes.

"Where were you?" Dad rubs his eyes. "You weren't there when I woke up."

"I was baking.." I yawn.

"How are you feeling?" Nat frowns lightly.

"Fine. I feel fine." I shrug.

"Okay.." Loki looks at me carefully. "What time did you wake up?"

"Urm..- Two." I sigh.

"Tw- Alex you went to sleep at two! Don't tell me you were awake all night." Dad groans.

"I can't sleep. I'm going to get my hair dyed anyways." I look at the clock. "In an hour..- I should probably get ready."

I walk to mine and dads room and go through the wardrobe.

I know it's weird sharing a room with your dad, but there's no other rooms available right now. Besides, I'd rather sleep with someone than alone. I feel safe.

I grab my clothes and change-

Molly knitted me this sweater for Christmas. I absolutely love it.

I tie my charcoal coloured hair up, and walk out to the others.

"I'll come with you." Dad stands up.

"Sure." I head towards the door.

He glances at everyone who were eating cake and brownies, before following me out.

"The hairdressers in city centre, right?" Dad looks at me whilst I get in the car.

"Yep!" I smile.

. . .

We got to the hairdressers and dad had to wait in the car. I told them what I wanted and sat in the chair, going through my phone.

After awhile it was finally done! I look in the mirror at my platinum, white, blond hair. Underneath it, it had five streaks of ginger, three streaks of brown, one streak of violet and one streak of black.
