"Students out of bed! Students in the corridors!" He yells, rushing in
Filch stops dead, as Mrs. Noris wends through his legs.
"They're supposed to be out of bed, you blithering idiot!" McGonogall snaps.
"Oh. Sorry, ma'am." Filch begins to turn away.
"Wait! As it turns out, Mr. Filch, your arrival is most opportune. If you would, I'd like you to lead Miss Parkinson and the rest of Slytherin House from the Hall!" McGonogall smiles.
"Right away!" He turns to leave but stops. "Er, exactly where is it I'd be leadin' em to, ma'am?"
"The dungeons should do." McGonogall shrugs.
Cheers rise again and McGonagall's eyes turn on Alex. She rises up to full height, her jaw firm.
"I presume you have a reason for returning, Barnes. What is it you need? Time." She raises her brow.
"As much as you can give me." Alex nods.
"Do what you have to do. I'll secure the castle." McGonogall reassures.
"Is that possible, Professor?" Alex sighs.
"We teachers are rather good at magic, Alex. We've even been known to turn out a worthwhile witch or wizard on occasion. I think it's time I ask a few of them to take their magic beyond the classroom. What d'you think?"
Alex follows McGonagall's gaze, sees Neville and Ginny conferring with a sprinkling of DA members.
"I think you're right.." Alex smiles lightly.
McGonagall nods, still sizing up Neville and the others. Alex turns, starts to exit.
"By the way, Alex..It's good to see you." McGonogall smiles warmly.
Alex gives a little nod before she rushes out of the hall. The avengers, follow behind.
"You know, your school is really pretty." Brooke states.
"Oh yeah? It's even more prettier when it's not under attack." Alex sighs.
"Your-" Grayson starts but Alex stops and turns to him.
"Say anything about my uniform and I will rip your tongue out!"
"Oh- yeah! Got it.." Grayson mumbles.
"So where are we going?" Nat questions as they push past the students.
"My dorm."

They reach Alex's dorm.
"God, I haven't been in here for almost a year." She sighs, looking through her wardrobe for a change of clothes.
"Oh! We..- we brought a suit for you.." Bucky sighs.
"I take full responsibility for it!" Tony pulls his helmet down.
"Thanks." Alex takes it from Bucky and changes in the bathroom -
