"Okay, so this morning, I'm gonna be putting you all for a few drills just to assess you straight.." Harry starts but everyone was just talking over him. "Quiet, please!"

"Shut it!" I yell, catching everyone's attention.

"Thanks." Harry nods in appreciation. "Alright, um, now then, remember, just because you made the team last year does not guarantee you a spot this year. Is that clear?" He questions as everyone nods. "Good."

"No hard feelings, Weasley, alright?" Cormac grins.

Hard feelings?" Ron scoffs.

Yeah, I'll be going out for Keeper's, well, It's...nothing personal." Cormac shrugs.

"Really? Strapping guy like you? You've got more of a Beater's build, don't you think? Keepers need to be quick, agile." Ron sighs.

"Ill have my chances." He rolls his eyes. "Say, um, you think you could introduce me to your friend, Granger? Wouldn't mind, eh, getting on a first-hand base, you know what I mean!"

I watch as Ron scowls.

. . .

"Come on, come on. Go, Cormac. Come on, Ron! Go Alex!" The crowd cheers.

"Come on, Ron, Alex!" Ginny, the twins, Hermione, Harry and Theo cheer.

Draco didn't make it..I haven't seen him half of this term and he's been really distant.

"Confundus.." Hermione mumbles.

"Isn't he brilliant?" Lavender gasps.

We fly back over to them as Slytherin won.

"I have to admit I thought I was going to miss that last one. I hope Cormac's not taking it too hard. He's got a bit of a thing for you, Hermione. Cormac." Ron shudders.

"He's vile!" Hermione cries out.

"Have you ever heard of the spell: Sectumsempra?" Harry looks at the book I took.

"Oi!" I take it from him.

"No, I haven't. If you had a shred of self-respect, you'd hand that book in!" Hermione snaps, glaring at me.

Hermione has been on edge ever since I got that book.

"Not bloody likely. She's top of the class. She's even better than you, Hermione. Slughorn thinks she's a genius!" Ron gasps.

"I'd like to know who's that book was. Let's have a look, shall we?" Hermione huffs.

"No." I clutch it to my chest.

"Why not?" Hermione groans.

"The binding is fragile." I scoff.

"The binding is fragile.." Hermione mocks.

I roll my eyes.

"Who's the Half-Blood Prince?" Ginny snatches the book and looks through it.

"Who?" Hermione raises her brow.

"That's what it says right here. This book is property of the Half-Blood Prince."

"For weeks, you carry around this book. Practically, sleep with it, and yet you have no desire to find out who the Half-Blood Prince is." Hermione looks at me unimpressed.

"I didn't say I wasn't curious and I don't sleep with it!" I scowl.

"Yeah, you sleep with Malfoy!" Fred cheers. "Speaking of, I haven't seen him." George yawns.

"Yeah, he's been pretty distant...somethings going on." I shrug.

. . .

"Well, it's true. Well, I got a nice chat before I go to bed. And all you do is that bloody book. It's like being with Hermione." Ron groans.
