Epilogue

She came and sat besides me. " I am sorry " she started. " I am sorry for not giving you a proper explanation before I left. I know you are in this condition because of me. "

" Shhh.." I cut her off. " Stop blaming yourself. Nothing is your fault. Whatever was meant to happen, happened. You just tell me why you ran behind that Rohan?" I asked her.

" Kian, he came to my home with a marriage proposal while I was here. He showed my parents our pictures of the time we were together which made them think that I love him too. Alia told me all this on the call when we were on the terrace. She informed me that he's coming to the office to meet me. " She kept explaining and finally I was able to connect all the dots. So I continued for her, " That's why you came to my cabin and asked me to say your name so that he can hear us and Oh My God!" I started laughing. " Meri Sohni Kuddi, tu te badi namkeen nikli " I teased her and she blushed. I was so wrong about her. Unnecessarily I was overthinking everything. I looked at her lovingly. On one hand she was the girl who saw me hugging someone else and didn't asked for any explanation just kept trusting me and here on the other hand I was the guy who didn't saw anything and still doubted her and kept asking her for explanations. I am so stupid. Now I am feeling guilty about thing wrong about her.

" What is done, is done. Let's not think about it. You are finally awake and I am very happy. I do not want anything else to spoil our mood anymore. " She said and I kept lovingly smiling at her words. She was so mature. I opened my arms for her to come and hug me and she was happily coming my way when the door opened and Piyu and John entered. Piyu was surprisingly looking happy and hopeful.

" Guess what Kian? I was just in the corridor when I heard doctors say to an elderly couple that there are no traces of cancer in her anymore. She was diagnosed with cancer and tested just three months ago. She had not much time to live but the doctors said it was a miracle that there are no signs of cancer in her current report. They said it's unbelievable. When the doctors left, I went to that couple and asked them what they did.. The lady said that they lived alone in London and their house was under construction when they came to know about her cancer. They could not afford the new house with all the expenses of treatment and medication so they asked the construction team to stop the work. The head of the team was a Punjabi guy and he told her that neither the kitchen is completely done and nor the bathroom how will they live, if you stop the work in middle. The lady politely informed that man that she will not be able to pay him anymore because of her expensive treatment and she does not want to die with any burden of paying a debt to someone. The Punjabi man was a kind. He said he will complete the work without any monetary benefit and he did.  While he used to work their whenever his phone rang, his ringtone played as " Dhan Dhan Ramdas Guru, Dhan Dhan Ramdas Guru, Jin Siriya Tine Sawariya, Jin Siriya Tine Sawariya, han Dhan Ramdas Guru, Dhan Dhan Ramdas Guru" (Sikh Prayer) She didn't understood anything but loved the tune. When the work was completed and that Punjabi guy was leaving she asked him about that ringtone. She said she loved it and so that Punjabi Man gifted an electronic Photo Frame of Guru Ramdas ji which played this tune whenever switched on. The lady used to listen to it 24*7 and she started healing. She searched the meaning of that ringtone and it was " The one who has created you will only exalt you "

She came to know that Guru Ramdas ji is the forth Guru in Sikh History, The one who has built the Golden Temple where miracles happen every day and every sickness is cured. Where all wishes that are pure and doesn't involve any wrong doing are surely fulfilled. She went and visited the Golden Temple and she felt blissful. And Now she has nothing. Her sickness is gone. I have complete faith that if I take John to the Golden Temple he will also be fine. I am not sure but at least I can try. What if everything ends up good. What's the harm? " Piyu's words left us all awestruck.

" She's crazy Kian, nothing will happen. She is unnecessarily increasing her hopes. " John said after Piyu completed her story.

" There is no harm in trying though. I think you should both go. I know when we are born and we die is all destiny but the power to change the destiny is in the Almighty's hand. We have tried everything else than why not this? You should really keep hope and faith and go. If not for yourself at least go for her " Kyra said. " I totally agree." I joined.

It was then that Vedh, Zoya, Pari, Neil, Alia, and Chote all of them entered. " What the hell are you doing here? Take him out please " Angered rushed through me as I saw Vedh. " I know, I know Kian, I did very wrong with Kyra. I am so sorry. Please forgive me. It will never happen again " Vedh told me. How could he think I will forgive him for what he had done? I looked at him with pure disgust. Kyra looked at me with her beautiful dove like eyes. She looked concern and worried. I calmed a bit. I didn't wanted to scare her off with my anger. " It's okay Vedh. But next time please stay away from me. " She said to Vedh. He looked down ashamed and moved to the corner. Then I saw happy faces of Neil and Pari and Shan and Alia. I smiled at them and they smiled back.

" Since everything is sought now let's celebrate.." Pari said in her excited tone. " Yes I agree " Alia joined her. " You all carry on, me and John are leaving for the Golden Temple as soon as we can book the tickets. " Piyu said in her serious tone. John looked at her with pity. His eyes said " Why are you doing all this for me?" But Piyu just ignored him. " I wanted to see the Golden Temple too" said Zoya. Everyone looked surprisingly at her. She continued.. " Yes. It was my dream to go there once and admire it's beauty. "

" Let us all go" said Neil. " It will be fun.." he said happily. " Yes, and it will be a good start for new beginnings " said Vedh and looked at me with hope in his eyes. " But how will Kian travel in this condition? and Mumma ji is also not well.. I think we will have to stay behind " Kyra said sadly. It was difficult to see such a beautiful face sad. " We will all go, I feel fine. We can wait for your mom to get better " I said to her and she smiled.

" There is no need to wait " Mumma ji said as she and Dad entered. My Mom came in too with them. " She just got discharged and she is happy and healthy to travel " Dad informed. Everyone exclaimed happily. I smiled at my Sohni Kuddi and she smiled back. To new beginnings it was. To the Golden Temple. Dhan Dhan Ramdas Guru. Dhan Dhan Ramdas Guru.

For those who don't believe in miracles or are against Sikhism I know negative comments will follow but it's okay. This is not the end. It's a new beginning for them. For Piyu and John who are hoping for the miracle, for Pari and Neil and Alia and Shan who are moving ahead in love, for Zoya and Vedh who are healing within themselves, for Kyra's Mom and Dad as they understand each other even better now and finally Kian and Kyra for their future. What their future will be is still a suspense, but one thing is for sure, It's going to be very beautiful.
