Chapter 10

Sohni Kuddi
I was so happy while I was getting ready. Who knew that my mood was gonna be super off within few moments because of that Kian.
I wored my beautiful black saree and left my wavy hair fall over my shoulders. I did a casual makeup with some eyeliner, lipgloss and mascara. To top it all, I put on long diamond earrings. One last time I checked myself in the mirror and haash! I looked fine.
There was a horn outside signalling that Mr.Kian has already arrived. I checked the time and it was exactly 7.02. Trust this man on his professionalism. He was exactly on time. I took my designer handbag that Khushi once gifted me on my birthday and rushed outside. As soon as I was gonna open the front door, Alia stopped me and asked me to help her with her eye makeup.
Kian then called me up and I asked him to wait. I quickly donned her eyes with golden eye shadow, dark and long eye liner, mascara to make her lashed more thick and lastly some kajal to shapen her eyes perfectly. " Here! Its done. " I told her as I was satisfied with my work. She looked goodess in her black saree with gold backlace blouse. She kissed my cheek and said thanks. I then proceeded to go outside when again I was interrupt by a facebook message. It was Rohan again, asking me whats wrong and that he wants us back together.
I don't understand when will he get the message that I have no feelings for him. I ignored it and again there was the call from Kian. God! This man had no patience. I kept the cell aside and finally went outside. I didn't received his call since I was anyways going now. I saw his back and the grand car. I never understood car brands and names but this one seemed huge and expensive. I called out to him " Am really so so sorry " I apologized as I kept walking ahead.
In my rush my heal twisted and I fell down. Way to start a date. I got up immediately and he came rushing towards me. " Are you alright? " He asked with concern. I huffed in response. I was fine just moments before. Infact I was so happy. Something wrong always happens when he is around. I muttered some curses under my breadth and sat inside the car. "'Excuse me? Did you say something?" He asked. I arranged my saree first before replying him that whenever he's with me I get hurt. I don't know why I said it. It angered him. He said in a bit harsh tone," So according to you am your bad omen?" He asked the obvious. " Shit Sherlock! " I answered sarcastically.
He then started to fight unnecessarily. At first he said I was the one who had no date but him, to which I replied him that he was the one who asked me to this date. Is this the way you treat a girl on first date? He didn't even appreciated me or my saree! That is the only mandatory rule on your first date. At least compliment your girl. But no! He knew nothing, except for being rude. Why do I get such annoying dates?
Anyways this is how we reached the venue, fighting all the way. As we got down the car, he asked me to get another date and enjoy the evening to which I replied "Gladly" and moved in the hall.
The hall was decorated with white flowers all around and there were couples in suit and saree everywhere. Romance was in the air. " Hi beautiful! I am Vedh. " a random guy approached me. I smiled politely at him and offered him my hand " Kyra " I answered with a smile. He took my hand and kissed my knuckles. I shivered at his sudden gesture. " I work in 'K Sales' too, so I guess we are co-workers now " he informed me. I was glad that at least I met someone who could accompany me. I smiled at him and we soon got into a smooth conversation, about 'K Sales', about his job, about mine, about Rudra and also a bit about that Kian.
A few minutes later the couple of the day _ Rudra and Khushi entered the hall in white. Khushi looked stunning in her white gown and no other guy looked as perfect as Rudra did in his white tux. Khushi was really lucky. She was blessed with true love, which very few can get in this life. They walked hand in hand as the rhythmic music of " Mere hath me " from the movie " Fanna " was played. The hall was then filled with there amazing pics from the day they started dating till today. I was awestruck. This was so very romantic. As they reached the stage, Rudra kissed Khushi on the cheek and everyone whistled and applauded. This was what every girl dreams of. My eyes were filled with tears of joy as I saw so much of pure love in front of me.

The music then stopped and the song " pyar ki yeh kahani suno, ek ladhka tha, ek ladhki thi " played as every couple moved on the dance floor. Vedh was beside me watching all this too, and he asked me for a dance to which I gladly agreed. We moved hand in hand towards the dance floor.

He twisted me smoothly around and then towards him in a swift turn. I could almost feel his breadth on my neck. He turned me around again and dragged me back towards him. His hand slowly moved from my shoulders to my arms and to my waist. This was slowly getting uncomfortable. Matching with the beats he again turned me around and pulled me close. This time his hands went down my lower waist and touched my bare skin. I tried to move a bit away and get some space between us as our bodies were awkwardly close. The lights were dim too and the song got intense. He then moved his hands an inch up grabbing the hook of my blouse he pulled it open and smirked. I stood there still in his arms shocked, afraid to move even a step back, because if I did, the only support that my blouse had at the moment of his hands holding it in place will be gone too.

Ok so an early update because am gonna be busy tomorrow, so probably won't be able to update. So here it is:)
Other thing, do you guys know Khushi and Rudra aka Sanaya Israni and Mohit Sehgal are finally getting married? :) I really love them.
