*John’s POV*

Ashley has been acting kind of strange lately. Ever since running away from everyone in the middle of the ball a month ago, she has been distant and lethargic. I was hoping that maybe she was just tired but she has not even been going out and I think it has something to do with Dean but every time Sherlock or I bring it up, she gets defensive of him. I know she is hiding something from me and if it is the idea that monsters, angels and demons are real, well, I know that already but that was a long time ago, I do not want to think about it, I just want my Ashley back.

I was in the middle of making a cuppa for Sherlock and me as Ashley was sitting on the couch reading a new book series she had been reading called the Inheritance Cycle when we heard a knock on the door and I turn to open the door before I see a mischievous Stormy with a confused looking Jack. I just knew better than to ask as I smile and invite them in. “Hello Stormy and Jack, Where is the Doctor?” I start to ask as a slightly red faced and labored breathing Doctor runs in behind them. I roll my eyes as I invite them to sit down as I look over and see Stormy is trying to read over Ashley’s shoulder but is failing as she then tries to make Ashley smile. Those girls are as thick as thieves are, they know each other better than some people do and they just met not even 5 months ago.

“Can I get you anything?” I offer to the Doctor and Jack as Stormy starts to whisper something to Ashley and they continue their conversation in hushed voices. “Oh no, I am fine, thank you for the offer. Stormy said she needed to see Ashley about something and I figured I come over to get out of the TARDIS for a few hours. Tell me, where is Sherlock?” The Doctor asks as I start to tell him about our latest case involving that of Moriarty but was interrupted when Stormy said she needed to take Ashley outside for some air. Something was up but I let it slide because Ashley could use some fresh air other than going to and from work.

“Has Ashley been acting strange lately?” Jack asks as I nod and I look at the picture of all of us at her birthday. “Ever since the ball last month, she hardly talks, she seems distant. I was thinking Dean did something but she said it wasn’t him…Do you hear something?” Is all I can ask before we hear a roar of an engine and all run outside to see the TARDIS disappearing and I knew that Ashley was with Stormy because she was no where to be found. “Not the TARDIS” The Doctor yells but part of me was smiling, Ashley will finally get to go on some kind of adventure and hopefully when she is done, she will be her normal self again.

*Ashley’s POV*

One minute I was standing around and looking at the TARDIS, the next, I was being taken away to God knows where and all I can see is a mischievous smile on my best friend’s face. I hold on to the railing as I look at her and then feel us stop. “Stormy, please tell me that we did not just steal the TARDIS and are somewhere else?” I start to ask as she smiles and looks at our location on some kind of monitor. “We are exactly where we need to be. Now come on, I have an idea for even more fun but I need your help.” She starts to explain as I see her go to the exit and I roll my eyes. If I was going to die, I might as well go out with a bang and with my best friend.

I followed her outside and before I knew it, she pushed me back and looked me up and down. “Ashley, we need to get you a new outfit. Good thing the TARDIS likes you because you need to look the part.” She starts to say as she leads me to I would guess is her room. I looked down at my attire and I see not one problem with it. I was a simple black shirt with a pair of blue jeans and my black flats and my hair is in a bun but I was wearing my glasses since I was reading. “What’s wrong with my outfit?” I question as she throws a black tank top and dark jeans along with a pair of black boots and a maroon vest at me.
