Chapter 23: A New Chance

*Ashley's POV*

I could not believe what I was experiencing...the two people I had known my entire life...THEY WERE MY PARENTS!!! "Wait a moment..." I was gasping and backing away from everyone as I felt tears fall faster down my face and I felt Castiel hold me in his arms, as I could not believe anything. "Julia, what are you doing here?" I heard John ask as she smiles gently before looking back at me. "I had to tell her the truth and now it is your turn...John, I didn't have an emergency the day I disappeared...I was pregnant with your child but you were about to leave for the Army and I didn't want anything to keep you from your dreams." She explains as John looks hurt and then at her further. "Where is our child then?" He asks but I know he has other questions and all Julia could do was look at me. "She is right before our eyes...Ashley Mina Foster is really Ashley Mina Watson." She lets tears fall as I felt like I was in the center of everyone's attention.

"I don't understand...How is she my child and better question, how is she here and also in a coma on the bed?" He asks Julia smiles gently. "She is a wandering spirit but to better answer your question...Ashley is yours because of that one night we had together then I broke it off...I should have never let it happen but I am not ashamed of what happened because now...our daughter is alive." She smiles at me as I then hear someone break into the room and see Katie come in. "Julia...you...you are here." She stammers and looks at me. "Looks like you found the writer...mission accomplished so she is ready to go to heaven." Katie says as Dean looks pissed. "She isn't going anywhere she doesn't want to go." He vouches for me and I felt my heart swell. He does still love me even after finding out that I was selling my soul to save my sister!

"No offense hunter but she is under our protection...because Julia failed at her job and slept with a human." Katie smirks as I felt my anger swell and I wanted to hit her, she was not a mother as Julia was. "I was happy and I was not punished for it...unlike you. Using your grace to hide her from the last 21 years is despicable and wrong....SHE IS MY DAUGHTER!" Julia yelled and went to attack her as I see Castiel hold her back but John had no problems hitting Katie. "You...you lying backstabbing bitch...you hide my daughter from me and then even knew that she was my child the entire time!" He yelled and I saw Chuck appear and puts his hand on Katie's shoulder and shaking his head. "Balthazar...Gabriel, please take her upstairs to have a talk with the big man." He smiles as they nod, Gabe kissing Kaleb before leaving and then disappearing.

"Ashley, you do know that you will be in even more danger now and he is going to want to keep his angels to himself...what will you do?" Chuck asks and I was confused...What could I do? "Chuck, I volunteer to be her full time body guard." I hear Dean and Castiel say at the same time as an idea popped into my head. "Wait...Harlow, Kaleb, come here for a second and hold out your hands." I smile as they come to me and I see them looking confused. "I can't use my powers yet but when I wake up...I am making you two my half-angel protectors...if the others don't mind." I smile as Sam shakes his head and the others nod. "Now...how do I wake up?" I ask as I see Tessa looks pissed. "She is supposed to cross over!" I hear her yell and I roll my eyes. "Not today." I mumble and see Castiel send them all out; Tessa, Crowley, Lucifer and Michael.

"Julia...Why didn't you write and tell me?" I hear John ask as I turn to see him looking at her painfully. "Because...because she is more of yours and Sherlock's Daughter than she is mine." She simply says as I felt my eyes watering up and I run over, not caring that I could possibly phase through her but she caught me as I cried. "You were always my mom." I cried as she tried to soothe me and smiled down at me. "John...can I ask something of you?" She asks, as he looks more upset than anything but nods. "What is it?" He says as she looks at me then at him. "Please...please take care of our girl. I have to keep up appearances but I will always come to check on her yet...I think she needs time with her father more than her mother." She smiles as she kisses my forehead and disappears before I can say anything yet I can hear her softly say 'I love you my daughter...see you soon.'
