*Ashley’s POV*

Finally, it was Christmas and I was more excited than anyone I know was. Today was the day before Christmas Eve and tonight was my last night of work for the next 2 weeks. Mr. Angelo gave me time off as my Christmas present and as part of my birthday present too, that sweet man Mr. Angelo. I was just about dressed when I heard Sherlock yelling for John to hurry up getting dressed so they could go see Mycroft about something that I don’t know about because they said it was “unimportant to me”. I smiled, enjoying the warmth of our flat before I go to face that cold weather of London. It was supposed to snow but I guess that it was just not going to happen this Christmas.

As I put my hair up, I heard John and Sherlock yell their farewells to me before leaving me alone in our flat. Nana Hudson was away until tomorrow, seeing a friend she said and that left me all alone. I sent Dean, Konnie and Stormy all “Good Morning” text messages and was surprised to hear Konnie call me. I was kinda nervous because the last time he called, it was because he needed to know what Brandon was allergic to, saying that he wanted to send some goodies for him during his midterm testing week. “Hey Kon, what can I help you with this time?” I smile as I answer my friend’s call, putting my hair up the rest of the way and hearing the eagerness of one of my best friends on the other end of the phone. “I heard you were having a Christmas Party tomorrow night and Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day and I was wondering if I can come to it? I will bring a present for you and something for the white elephant gift exchange!” He begged me as I smiled and shook my head, making my way down the stairs to the kitchen.

“Konnie, of course you can come, you don’t have to ask crazy boy. Just be here no later than 7 pm and if you don’t mind, can you pick up some napkins for tomorrow? I would do it but I am working a double today since I am off these next two weeks from Angelo’s and I won’t have time to do that and make dinner for tomorrow too.” I express as I then remembered that I needed to make a lot of food this time. The Doctor, Jack and Stormy will be there as well John and Sherlock but Nana Hudson and Harry will be here tomorrow too. The Winchester’s will be coming too as well someone named Bobby Singer and Brandon will be coming. That brings my new total to 17 people in my flat since Molly will be out of town with her new fiancée and DI Lestrade will be with Mycroft tomorrow.

“You can count on me to bring the napkins and the gifts. Anything else you need, my little detective?” He jokes with me as I smile at the new nickname he gave me after I figured out the first case. “Not that I can think of but thank you. Thanks for calling to tell me you are coming because now, I have to get another ham and some more stuff for dinner tomorrow. Anyway, I had better go to work. Good luck on shopping today and thanks for picking up the napkins. I owe you one.” I thank him as he says his farewells and hangs up. I will say, something was different about Konnie, not because he was my best “guy” friend but because he was one of the only guys that would let me come over after work when I didn’t want to go home and we watch tv shows or he make me snacks for me to eat before work. He was just as kind as can be.

I grab my purse and proceed to go to work. I mentally went over the presents I have before going to the list in my purse.

·         Strings for Sherlock’s and Konnie’s Violin

·         Tea Cup for John and Nana Hudson

·         Flasks for the Winchester Boys and Bobby

·         Journal for Harlow and Kaleb
