Chapter 19: The Game is Afoot

*Ashley's POV*

I get to my first location, an abandoned factory near the flat and I see a flat screen TV hooked up to a Mic and a camera. I have seen these tricks before and I was not in the mood to deal with games now. "Moriarty! Show yourself...NOW!" I scream and I see the TV flicker on and the scene I saw brought tears to my eyes. It was of Jack and Stormy being tied together and had a bomb strapped to their chests. "JACK...STORMY!" I scream as they look at the camera and I could see fear in their eyes but more of protective glance before I then see someone hitting Stormy on the face with the butt of a gun. I then hear her recite what seemed like a practiced speech.

"Congradulations on finding the location so quickly, you are proving to be as smart as Sherlock Holmes. I bet you are wondering why there are bombs strapped to our chests...This is if you are found cheating or sending help during this game." She chokes out as I growl to myself. Dammit, he had a back up plan, he was smarter than I realized. "Don't worry, I will get you all out soon." I proclaim as Stormy nods and finishes her speech. "Your riddle is: What is he that builds stronger than either the mason, the shipwright, or the carpenter?...You have 60 seconds to figure it out." She says right as the timer starts to tick down. Dammit, gotta think. What is it now, I remember this riddle from somewhere.

"Tick tock Ashley, don't want your friends to die to we." I hear Moriarty say as I keep trying to remember and then smirk to myself more than anything as I looked at the camera. "I have the answer Moriarty...It is The gravedigger, for his houses will last forever (he says until Doomsday)...I answered your question now free them and give me the next location as we agreed on." I vocal as he shakes his head. "Next question and this is for the bombs to be removed. You do want that, don't you?" He smirks as I nod and look at him. "Give me the question then." I shake as he taps his finger to his chin. "Here we go...how would idiotic yet loveable Dean feel if he ever knew about your deep dark secret...about how you destroy everything you touch." He laughs as I feel my demons try to mock me along side him but I stand taller.

"He will still love me. I have your answer now the next location!" I bark at him as he looks shocked and nods before snapping and I receive a text message to go to my next location. "You only have 20 minutes to get there, I suggest you run love." He signs off as I take off running.

*Next Location*

I just got to the next location with 2 minutes to spare but when I saw what it was, I felt my stomach turn into knots...it was the Eye of London, the tallest Ferris Wheel in England and I was afraid of heights. I am so going to royally kick his ass later. It was closed but when I got to the entrance, I saw my name on one of the passenger doors and I climbed in only to feel it moving and then my phone lit up, showing the bloody faces of Kaleb and what appears to be Sam.

"Sam...KALEB!" I scream into the microphone and they both look at me as Sam tries to struggle at the ropes but Kaleb is being hurt when he does it. "Stop it please!" I scream as Sam looks at me with broken eyes and mouths that he is sorry to me. "I forgive you Sam...I will always forgive you." I reply as I look behind them and can see Moriarty further. He was tall but if he were not so evil, I would have considered going on a date with him. He was wearing a suit and tie as he made Kaleb look at the camera. "Now, recite the riddle for our sweet contestant." He ordered her but she spit in his face only to be slapped. "Stop it Moriarty! You have me now give me the damned riddle." I yell as Sam looks at the camera and says the next riddle for me.

"It seems that you have solved the previous riddle with no problem but now comes time for the fun to be induced. If you get this answer wrong, I will increase the speed of the Ferris wheel and after the third time, I will press the button that ejects you into the air. I hope you are ready, your riddle is: We hurt without moving. We poison without touching. We bear the truth and the lies. We are not to be judged by our size. What are we?" He asks as I see a counter appear on the clock behind them, giving me the allotted time of 90 seconds. Shoot, this one is hard. "Is it Documents?" I ask and could feel the compartment in I am spin faster. "Wrong, 2 more guesses." Moriarty says I try to think and I see the time has gone down now to 50 seconds, shoot, if I get it wrong, I loss time and if I do not answer right, the bombs will blow.

"Silence isn't an answer, Miss Foster." He replies as I think. "Is it Gossip?" I ask and feel the wheel spinning much faster, causing me to feel ill and that I know if I answer this wrong, everyone I know and love will die. With only 15 seconds on the clock, I hear a venomous voice, "Final chance...care to take it?" I hear him laugh as I remember this riddle, Sherlock used it on me once before. "The answer...it is Words!" I scream and feel the wheel start to slow down as Sam takes a deep breath in relief and Kaleb cheers for me. "You got lucky on that one but now it is time for my question...to remove the bombs from them...Tell them the truth...Tell them why you are always running away."

I took a deep breath and shook my head. "I am done running away, I am ready to stand and Rise! Now give me my final clue!" I yell as he nods and lets it appear on my phone as I look at the address, it was nearby luckily and I was only hoping that I was nothing too major. "You have 15 minutes to get to this location, have fun." He giggles as I take off running.

*Final Location*

I smelled fire and burning oil but I kept going. It as an abandoned building that was meant for demolition and when I walked in, I felt my heart break further. It was not someone on a camera or a microphone but I saw Castiel and Gabriel all beaten and bloody inside a ring of flaming holy oil, that was not a good sign at all. "I am here Moriarty!" I scream as I see Gabriel wave to me as I walk over to him. "Is Kaleb ok?" He begs me for an answer as I nod. "For now, yes." I agree as I hear someone come over the megaphone. "Time for the final clue, I'm not a pool yet I have a cover; not a tree yet I have leaves, not a slave yet I am bound, not a website yet I have pages, or a shirt yet I have sleeves. What Am I? And by the way, you only have 10 seconds to solve this one." He laughs as I see why he says only 10 seconds as a big press comes barreling down at Castiel and Gabriel.

I think of the final answer and smile again as I yell the answer. "It's a Book!" I scream as the press stops before hitting them and goes back up. "If only you weren't the enemy, I would enjoy having you by my side all day. Now, my final question before I give you our location and if you answer me, I will get rid of the ring of fire around the feathered idiots." He smirks as I stand up tall and take a deep breath, ignoring my doubts again. "Ask then." I reply as I hear him chuckle. "Would you really do it? Would you really die for those you love?" I hear him smirk and I look up and feel myself burning with anger now but I have to remain calm.

"Yes...Yes I would. Ican't give up if I want to keep what I love...my family. I am ready to face younow...tell me where you are?" I reply as he smiles and sends me a text message. "Youhave 1 hour and if you are late, I will kill everyone." I hear him reply andclick off as the fire is put out and I run to them. They are really hurt and mypowers won't let me heal them. "You have to go and save them...we will find yousoon." Gabriel explains as I nod and hug them as I take off, ready to face mymaker and this time, there is no turning back...I am ready...Tonight, I will RISE!
