"Should I..." Licking my lips, I looked at the paper and then back at Jasper.

He nodded and I got my back to get out my gloves. I looked again in my bag when I realized that there was something in there that I saw before but didn't realize it wasn't mine. I picked and inspected it.

"Can you just see the damn paper?" Throwing that thing out of the window, I wore the gloves and slowly picked up the paper as if it was a box with a time bomb inside it and I'm the newest member of a bomb squad.

"Will you stop giving me the feeling of being beside a bomb and the damn bomb squad and read it!" He yelled.

"Bomb squad?" I gave him a 'really?' look, hiding the look of surprise. I couldn't let him know I was thinking the same thing and give an opportunity to tease me whatsoever.

"Read the damn paper." He grumbles and looks away. Most of the time, I can't even understand this moron in front of me, this being one of them.

'Vivienne dearie, stop the reconstruction of that fucking picture. Or else your guns would be used to frame you both for a mass murder you both didn't commit. You might evade from the one murder's blame, but how will you evade from dozens of those blames? xoxo, a well wisher.'

I kept a straight face for a few seconds before I couldn't stand it and burst out laughing.

"This isn't a joke or prank, Venere!"

"But it is." I replied a few minutes later, after containing my laughter.

"What? You pulled this prank? Are you fucking crazy!"

"Uff, Jazzy no. Wait till we get to your hotel in Key West, alright? I will explain everything but when we get there. And don't tell anyone about this, not your crew, not even the staff at the hotel. Until we get there, that is." He looked like he wanted to protest but I glared at him in anger with my wide eyes and he started the car and turned it around.

We attempted to get to know each other before we got there which may have started without a hitch but ended very badly, resulting in an uncomfortable aura looming around us for the rest of the drive.

"We're here." He muttered reluctantly after the long and uncomfortable drive.

I got out of the car with all of my stuff as soon as he parked it, not wanting to give him a chance to ask questions again. His curious and stubborn ass may ask me questions that I won't answer and he won't leave me alone without getting any answer.

"Come on. We have to discuss many things." He dragged me along to the entrance of the hotel.

We heard a bunch of 'good evening, sir's which Jasper ignored like they were a bunch of butterflies and bobbed his head like a teenager listening to music. Rude much.

"You could have at least nodded your head like you respected them."

"I did, it's not my fault your eyes didn't see it."

He called that nodding? Uff let it be, I don't wanna lose my brain cells for someone as complex as him right now. "Whatever."

He abruptly stopped making me almost fall flat on face. I looked around to see the reception and receptionist being bombarded with several phone calls at the same time.

"Dude, when you're dragging a person, warn them before stopping abruptly like that." I whispered I'm his ear.

"Mr. DeLuca! Ma'am! Good evening! Just a moment please.. Umm.. yeah, here is your penthouse key-card, sir!"

"Wait please can you also give us the key to room no. 709?" They both looked at me as if I was some alien. Wait, why did I say that number again?

"Uh, let me just check if it's occupied or not." She pressed some keyboard keys and then turned around to get something that looked like a card.
