"Do you want something to eat?" I asked, standing up and walking towards the door. Louis trotted behind me as well.
"If you are cooking." He replied, turning off the treadmill machine.
"Only if you are willing to help me and won't drag me into a food fight. I hate it when the food is wasted." I replied back and he huffed.
"Fine." He grumbled and wiped his chest with his towel. I rolled my eyes and turned around to open a door before I said something due to which Jasper won't let me live down my whole life.
I walked to the kitchen with Jasper trailing behind me.
"So, what should we make? Or do you want a take-out?" I asked.
"We should make something... different." He said.
"Well, whatever it is you know the rule- I'm gonna make a vegetarian dish for me separately." I replied.
"I was thinking about making an omelette... but if you're not eating it then... it's crossed off the list!" He fake exclaimed and I gasped.
You. Do. Not. Tempt. A. Person. Like. That! Especially if it's Mac!
I tackled him to the ground and said, "We are making omelettes! Agree or I am gonna tie you to a chair and leave you on the railing's edge of this building's terrace!" I exclaimed and he shook his head.
"Okay fine! We're making omelettes." I got up and walked to the refrigerator to get some eggs.
"You're vegetarian. Vegetarians don't eat egg." He commented.
"I'm an ovo lacto- a lacto ovo- vegetarian. Whatever that is." I replied and he smirked at me.
"Yeah come on, laugh it up. It's really funny." I replied sarcastically.
"Alright, just don't slaughter those eggs. You already sacrificed one." He replied and I saw that one egg rested there on the floor, with its yoke spilt on the floor.
I took a deep breath and grabbed a rag that was nearby and cleaned the yoke.
"Now, we would be slaughtered." Jasper replied. I looked up questioningly.
"That rag was Riley's favorite scarf." Jasper replied and I threw the same rag on him which had hit him square in face.
"Ugh! You're bothering me!" Jasper yelled.
"No one asked you to agree with me dahling." I bit back and he stomped away.
I did the preparations and cooked the omelettes. I grabbed a loaf of bread as well and baked it for me and Jasper.
If he didn't eat them, then more for me!
When everything was done, I informed Jasper and setted up a plate for me. I got another dish for Louis and placed it on the floor to let him eat. He started to eat it as if he was one of those royalties in the world. I don't know where the hell did he get that habit from. Just as I was about to eat one morsel, he entered the kitchen.
Universe! Can't I have some peace at least while having my dinner?!
"Where's my plate?" He asked.
"Take it yourself." I replied and he grumbled but suddenly stopped grumbling.
"By the way, when will the other be back? I don't want to go out in the middle of the night to search them and drag their asses back here." I continued and turned around to see he was staring at me.
I snapped my fingers and he scowled. I rolled my eyes and finished my dinner. I walked out the door and on my way to Jasper's room, I grabbed a bottle of wine as well.
