"All this has to be the work of someone who can get inside the control room without getting questioned. And someone from the staff is definitely in this plan. Or someone who is a hacker. Otherwise, it's practically impossible to get into the penthouse, tamper the CCTV footage AND leave no witnesses."

Muttering to myself I continued to reconstruct the sticker, while thinking about the thing I found last night before Jasper stormed in and yelled at me like I was a kid or someone like that.

I hid an important detail from Jasper due to the fact that... it will definitely make him go berserk. Taking it out, I examined it again.

The one who broke in might have dropped this on purpose to confuse me or they might have borrowed it from its owner for some reason, got here and accidentally left it behind. But suddenly my phone rang.

Nope, not gonna answer anyone's call until I got some idea on how to get to the root of all this.

The ringing of the call stopped, giving my head and ears some peace. Wait, call?

"Of course! Why didn't I think of this before!" I tapped my head lightly and got up to accept the call but the ringing stopped before I could grab my phone, keeping the thing in my pocket. It was Riley who was video-calling me. She must've got out of that stupid beach house if she's able to make a video call.

I got my laptop and switched it on to trace Theo and the crew's phone numbers via cell towers. They may switch off the location services but they cannot control from where they get their network range. Unless they switched off their phones. Then I don't know how I am going to get any conclusions.

But as soon as I tracked everyone's current locations all I could think was Oh. My. Goodness. Literally. There was in fact a certain someone in Key West, who wasn't supposed to be here. At all. If Jasper gets to know about this and the certain thing I found a few hours ago, he's definitely gonna put a price on my head.

The phone rang and it was Riley again. I accepted the video call request. "Am I dreaming? The great empress Riley DeLuca is calling moi? Not just call but video call, that too not once but twice? Either the sun rose in the West or the Earth is moving out of its orbit."

"Shut it and let your damn Louis take a look at your face. He has been harassing us since yesterday morning and almost broke everyone's phone here. It wasn't until Ben pointed out, we realised that he wanted to see your damn ugly face." And with that she turned her phone towards Lou who tried to place his paw on the screen but Riley pulled up her phone and started to yell in Italian. Louis started to growl at Riley and tried to scratch her but she jumped back.

"Don't yell at my Lou in some foreign language he doesn't understand or at all for the matter of fact and let him touch the damn screen. Lou, baby don't scratch or break the screen okay?" I could see his face very near to the screen now. She must have taken the phone near him and also might be sitting on the floor. He mewed and his paw covered half of the camera.

"I will be back soon, okay? Don't trouble anybody there! Or if you really want to, you can!"

"Hey!" Two voices complained and the camera now showed Riley and Jenna's faces pressed almost near to the screen. I chuckled and Lou mewed happily, sprinting away but not before giving Riley a stinky look.

"Look, we don't like each other and there's no reason we should extend this call. Wait, how do you have WiFi connectivity now? Where have you taken my Lou?" I questioned as if I didn't know. The lies you have to tell to keep things under the wraps. From their current location, I knew they were at some restaurant which was famous for being animal friendly.
