𝐀𝐍 𝐔𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐬

xᴠɪɪɪ || 'ᴛᴏ ʜᴇʟʟ!'

Sunday night was a disaster show. The executives of Hillerska were racing around the school, meeting with the headmistress and talking to parents about that day's affairs. August's arrest had already made the news; the Crown were too late with their cover up.

Wilhelm and Astrid were surprised when the Queen didn't show up that evening. Both were expecting to be screamed at, but instead they received one single text.

The lowercase writing was freaking Astrid out a little. The Queen typically wrote with correct punctuation. Wilhelm had reassured her to not worry; surely they couldn't be in too much trouble.

But August's arrest wasn't what Astrid was concerned about. Wilhelm might not be in too much trouble, being the Crown Prince and all, but what Astrid had just done was enough to get her kicked from the palace - permanently.

Music blared from Felice's speakers. Sara and Madison were dancing around while Felice laughed; Simon and Wilhelm were seated together on the floor, Simon's legs resting on Wilhelm's, as Wille had his hands thrown over Simon's shoulders. Jasmine and Astrid were situated on Felice's bed.

Jasmine couldn't stop fidgeting with her necklace. She kept flicking the ring on the end of the chain up and down against her finger. Astrid caught her after the first couple times; she didn't say anything, but she did roll her eyes.

"We should tell them," Jasmine suggested, as Astrid rested her head against Jasmine's shoulder, "They should know, especially before the Queen finds out".

"Just let them be happy for a moment," Astrid said, "They deserve to have a minute," Her gaze fell on Wilhelm and Simon; they looked at peace.

"I thought we were happy about this," Jasmine said, "Unless this is all for a publicity stunt," She eyed Astrid curiously. Astrid sat up, slapping Jasmine playfully on the arm.

"We are happy about this!" She exclaimed, "I just don't want to rush it".

"Right, because becoming engaged after a year of dating is totally not rushing anything," Jasmine replied dramatically. Astrid raised an eyebrow.

"You were the one who accepted the ring, I could take the damn thing back if you want," She joked, as Jasmine shook her head while reaching for Astrid.

"I like the ring," She promised, "I'm just wondering why we aren't telling people. Especially Wilhelm, you tell him everything".

"You do know I didn't tell him about you until after the video leaked, right?" Astrid asked. Jasmine looked surprised and almost offended. "Because I didn't know how he would take it, and I couldn't be kicked out of the royal family before I secured all my funds," She added in a hurry.

"You have funds?" Jasmine asked, her expression changing, "Like money funds".

"I'm filthy rich," Astrid confirmed, "Why? You a gold digger?"

"Oh, fuck off!" Jasmine exclaimed, tackling Astrid to the bed. The Princess couldn't contain herself; she burst out laughing, Jasmine joining in shortly after.

"We'll tell them after," Astrid said, after a few moments of quietness. "We want a long engagement, don't we? Drag it out a bit, piss off the Queen," Jasmine nodded in agreement, "So there is no need to rush things. It will all work out in the end. I promise, my princess". She planted a quick kiss on Jasmine's cheek. "Alright?"

"Alright," She agreed, "And I like that".

"Like what?"

"'My princess'" She clarified, which caused Astrid to roll her eyes. Wilhelm killed the music, as once the complaints had quieted down, he held up his phone, the Queen's contact holding the phone screen captive.

"Time to go to hell," He joked.

"To hell!" Astrid followed. Their friends joined in, shouting 'to hell!' and collapsing onto the ground in laughter.

Maybe everything did work out in the end. At least, it did for these young royals.

And there it is! We've officially hit the end of An Unfinished Love Story!

I just want to say (again) thank you for all the support, comments and votes I've gotten on this story. It started out as a fun little story to cope with season one ending (i think that's why we're all here, to cope with the ending) and now we're reached over 3k reads (Which is a record for me) and we've just hit 200+ votes as off this morning. 

I've uploaded the first part of my new young royals fic (called 'MANIA!'). It leads off straight after Christmas (While still being in the Christmas holidays) and follows Wille and a new friend (though ofc there's going to be a decent amount of Simon throughout the story). I plan for it to be wildly different to this story, revolving more around Wille and Aurelia's (The new friend) relationship and the struggles that they have to work through.
