Wilhelm and Simon laid in each other's arms in Wilhelm's dorm room. It was the early morning, the sunlight blessing the boys with its delicate rays. It was finally safe, calm, and peaceful.

"Did you hear Sara beat up August?" Simon asked, as he wove his fingers through Wilhelm's. "Everyone in the hallway saw it happen".

Wilhelm bit his lip, "Is it bad that I want to laugh?" He asked, as both boys broke down in laughter. As Wilhelm fell back onto his back, Simon wriggled so he laid against Wilhelm's chest, Simon resting his head on his hands. "Astrid got married," Wilhelm blurted out.

Simon lifted his head. "What? To whom? Jasmine?" He exclaimed in surprise, "Jasmine got kicked out of the country, how on Earth did they get married? Wait, I thought they broke up". Simon furrowed his brow in confusion, "Sometimes I can't keep up with Astrid".

"Erik never could either," Wilhelm said fondly, "She isn't coming back, though, so the chaos should die down now".

"August is still walking the halls, so I doubt that," Simon replied.

Running his fingertips against Simon's hair, the boy dropping his head back to his hands once again. They laid in peaceful silence for a couple moments, before Wilhelm thought up a crazy idea. "We should spend the day at the palace tomorrow," He suggested, as Simon sat up. His hand still rested against Wilhelm's bare chest.

"What?" Simon asked, "The Palace? Like, with your parents? I don't think they'll be too pleased to see me, and besides, the press will have a field day if we're spotted together".

"I've stopped caring about what the press have to say about my life, especially because they have no idea what is going on," Wilhelm replied, "And the Palace is massive. We could probably go the whole day without seeing my parents".

It clicked in Simon's mind what was happening. "Oh," He said, nodding, "We're going to purposely evade them".

"No," Wilhelm countered, though one look at Simon's face was all it took to change his answer. "Yes, yes that was my plan. I figured you wouldn't want to deal with them, they aren't like Linda".

Simon patted Wilhelm's with a smile on his face. "It's alright, I don't mind," He replied, "An adventure in the palace sounds fun".

"You've never seen my room," Wilhelm said casually, as he looked to the ceiling, his hands resting beneath his head. Simon raised an eyebrow as he once again laid against Wilhelm's chest.

"I have not".

"We should definitely check that out".

"Agreed".

And just like that, August's plan finally dissolved entirely. He had no hold over anyone anymore, not Sara, not Simon, and definitely not Wilhelm.

Now, now was the time he would be taken down. For good.
