Y/n's pov.

Newt shakes me awake. "Come on love, there isn't long until the box comes up" This makes me snap awake. "Already?" I ask "What time is it?" He laughs "It's 10:00. Come on, we've gotta see what you're like today. We can't have you touring a greenie around if you're gonna be pissed. You'll scare 'em off" He says teasingly. I laugh, sitting up. "I don't feel too bad, I think I can do it" I tell him. He smiles at me and kisses my cheek. "Ok, I'll go tell Alby" He starts walking away "Just get dressed and go have some breakfast. I'll meet you in the kitchen" He says over his shoulder. I go to the bathroom and get changed, before walking over to the kitchen. Breakfast is about to finish, but there's still some food left. I grab a plate and sit at a table, waiting for Newt. Chuck comes up to me and sits down. "Hey Chuck" I say. Then I lean over and give him a quick hug "Sorry for being so mean the other day" I add. "It's ok, I know why" He says. I just roll my eyes. Everyone probably knows I think as I finish eating. Newt walks in and sits down next to me, on the opposite side to Chuck. "Are you done?" He asks nodding to my plate "Yep" "Ok, let's go out, there should only be" He checks his watch "10 minutes until the box comes up" I stand up and so does Chuck "Let's go" He says cheerfully. I take Newt's hand and we walk out, everyone's started to get ready for the box's arrival. By the time we hear the gears of the box arriving lots of gladers are gathered around the opening. We hear it stop and Alby and Newt reach down to heave open the box doors. The greenie is laying in a corner, almost in a ball. He looks like he's been crying. Alby jumps down into the box and the greenie shrinks further into the wall. "Day one greenie, rise and shine" He says. He helps the greenie get out of the box and the second he does he stands up and pushes through the crowd, running away. "He's not going to go far" I say, laughing a little. I also feel bad though, because I remember when I first came up. The greenie falls over his own feet and everyone laughs. I roll my eyes. Teenage boys I think. I break away from the pack, walking over to the greenie. I'm the one who's supposed to show him the ropes, may as well start now I think. I crouch down next to him and say hi. He looks at me as if I have 2 heads. It almost makes me want to slap him. "I know I'm the only girl here, but quit your staring" I say irritably. He shakes his head. "Sorry" He mutters "But where am I, who are you, why can't I remember anything?" He asks. I laugh, dropping my head. "You'll find out everything you need to know in time. Just calm down" I say. "Just tell me, can you remember your name?" That's the one thing that we all remember. He seems to think about it for a minute before answering. "Justin" He says so quietly that I almost don't hear. "Well Justin, welcome to the glade"

Justin's pov.

The pretty girl - who is named Y/n I find out - spends the day giving me a tour of what she called the glade. "Save all questions 'til the end, because I know there will be lots of them" She says with a laugh. We start at a dilapidated, thrown together looking building. "This is the homestead. Everyone sleeps here. You'll have your own bed made today, obviously" She says as I follow her. "This is the kitchen and in there" She says pointing "Is Frypan, the cook." We move on, her still explaining everything. "In there are the deadheads, it's basically just a forest, although we have a graveyard in the back" She says pointing over her shoulder. My eyes widen and I want to ask questions but I hold my tongue, trying to do as she asked. "Here is the slammer, it's like our jail" She takes me over to a place that looks like some gardens. When we get there she smiles brightly at one of the boys. I bet they're together or something I think. "These are the gardens, some of the boys work here." Then she thinks for a minute before deciding to give me a little bit of information. "You'll get to try all the jobs before the keepers decide what you're best at" She says. We go over to a farm house like building. There are animals everywhere and people walking around. "This is the bloodhouse" She says "And people work here looking after and slaughter animals for the cooks." I shudder. We walk over to the huge walls towering above us. There's a huge opening in the middle. "We must never go out there" She says seriously "What's out there?" I ask, breaking my resolve to not ask questions. "You will find out soon enough" She says mysteriously. I sigh "Why won't you tell me anything!?" I shout "You've shown me around but you haven't told me anything that matters. Like what's out there. Why we're here. Who put us here!" She just looks at me and laughs. "You done?" she asks mockingly. I glare at her. "Like I said, you'll find out soon enough. It'll be when Alby and Newt are ready for you to know" She says smirking. "Let's keep moving" As we walk away I see people come through the openings. "I thought you said we can't go out there" I say "Yes, I say WE can't go out there. Those are the runners they go out there everyday" She keeps moving so I follow her. By the time she finishes the tour, everyone is sitting around a huge fire, eating and celebrating. A boy walks up to us and she says hi to him "Justin this is Alby" She says "He's in charge around here. He'll look after you for the rest of the night" She adds, then walks away. She walks straight over to that boy from the gardens and I know my theory is true.

Y/n's pov.

By the time I finish Justin's tour I'm exhausted. Greenies are so annoying I think rolling my eyes, they ask so many dumb questions. Like we have the answers! I go sit with Newt as soon as I hand him over to Alby. I honestly don't care about him anymore. I just want to sit down. I plonk down next to Newt who is sitting on a log near the bonfire. He hands me a plate of food. I start eating and then remember that I asked for something in the box "Did you guys go through the supplies?" I ask. He looks at me. "Yeah and something was in a box for you. We didn't open it because I said it's probably in a box for a reason" "Oh?" I say. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small, rectangular box. "Here, this is it" He says, handing it to me. "Thanks" I say "Any idea what it is?" He asks me. "Uh, no" I say, caught a little off guard. "Hey why don't you go talk to the greenie, ah, Justin" I ask him. "Um, yeah, I probably should, shouldn't I? Help Alby too?" I nod "Ok, I'll go" He kisses me on the forehead before walking away. I wait for him to be far enough away before going over to the homestead. I go into the bathroom and open the little box. Surely enough, there is a pregnancy test with the instructions inside. I follow them and wait, sitting on the floor. OMG, I'm so nervous! I think. After a few minutes the results appear; positive.
