The animated bunny intro played with the green bunny dressed in a little santa hat. When the letters 'DEKU' popped up they were covered in Christmas lights.
"Hey guys! Happy Holidays! Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Whatever you celebrate, I wish you well! Welcome to the video! Today, we are all competing to see who makes the best gingerbread house in under thirty minutes." Deku greeted.
Himiko nodded, "Yep, we have all the material needed to make like four of them honestly, a buttload of candy to use, a whole lot of icing and a whole ton of different tools to use."
"And the time starts....now," Hitoshi said, clicking on the timer.

Deku asked his friends, "What's your idea for the gingerbread house?"
"Well, I'm going to make a castle. I'm going to make it all fancy and stuff." Himiko said, laying down her foundation.
Hitoshi shrugged, "I'm going to make it a simple house with a little gingerbread couple that has a cat or something."
"Cool, I'm going to make my house just a classic gingerbread house, but with a bit of a twist if my idea pulls through." Deku explained.

"Okay, foundation is done. Gotta put some icing on this to make it stay." Himiko mumbled, slathering white icing on the ground of her castle.
"Okay, I'm going to give this one a bit of a beard with this purple icing thing... oh, yeah. That works, make it all stubbly. Then I'll give this one really long hair like they are Rapunzel or something." Hitoshi whispered.
Deku remained silent as he did details on three separate gingerbread people. He gave one two little lemon gumdrops on the side of their head. Then he gave the other one little grape candies for their hair.

"Okay, my walls are coming together. I just needed a lot of icing." Himiko stated, slapping more icing onto the inner corners where wall connected with floor. Of her castle.
"Maybe if I break some of these spare gingerbread walls I can make support. Ooh, I can maybe furniture out of this, like a table..." Deku planned, breaking a wall in half.

"Okay, the people are done and set up. Maybe if I break this one's legs, I can get them to sit properly..."
"Oh, good idea." Deku remarked, trying to stuff three gingerbread people together with icing. "It works, but you have to be careful, I figured that out about a minute ago."
"Oh, thanks for the heads up." Hitoshi said, restocking legs on with icing.

"How is it coming?" Deku asked.
"Mine looks okay, I'm going to add more candy to really make it stand out." Himiko said.
Hitoshi responded with a mouthful of chocolate. "It's all good!"
"Hey, stop eating the building material." Deku answered back with a smile.
Hitoshi swallowed, "No promises."

"Why is the castle not staying up? No, I think I added too much candy on the roof. Stay with me please..." Himiko prayed, adding details to her gingerbread people to take her mind off the problem of her leaning roof.
"Hmmmm, that's a face." Deku commented while he tried to detail his gingerbread person. "Yeah...that could pass off as human."
"Oh sweet, I can make cats out of candies." Hitoshi said.
