Amara and Leon found themselves in an office like room, the two of them looked around for anything they may deem important. Amara let out a shaky breath as she closed her eyes, a sudden tinge of pain rushed through her body before fading leaving her feeling sad. "Are you alright?" Leon questioned the woman, he was worried about her but she was stronger than most. "Yeah, just looking forward to getting out of here. Hopefully Claire is okay," Amara answers before they finish collecting supplies. They stepped into an elevator, silently checking over their weapons before the door opened.
Amara stayed close to Leon as he moved a piece of metal out of their way when some humanoid creature grabbed Leon's head before knocking Amara to the side causing her to hit her head. Amara groaned in pain as she forced herself to sit up, she looked over to see Leon being thrown into the ground by the strange yet familiar creature. The two of them fell through the grate floor, Leon quickly jumped up and backed away from the being as Amara tried to focus her blurred vision from the impact of the wall.
Leon looked up at Amara for a moment as she closed her eyes in pain, "Stay up there Amara. I'll be fine." Leon pulled out his shotgun noticing the large swollen yellow eyeball on the creatures arm, aiming at it before firing off two shots. Leon stumbled back from the creature who managed to grab Leon's head as Amara finally managed to stand up, smoke began to fill the area causing Amara to cough by the sudden change of toxic environment.
She looked around for a way to help Leon who continued firing shots off at the strange creature. Leon reloaded his shotgun allowing the creature an opportunity to grab his head again, applying heavy pressure making Leon groan in pain. "LEON!" Amara shouted before Amara's blood began to boil as a surge of energy courses through her veins, she jumped down from the higher level and kicked the creature in the side with enough force to send it into a tank.
The creature growled at her as her eyes began to shine a bright blue, she looked at Leon for a moment as he stared at her in amazement and confusion. Following her instincts to protect her only friend, she walked forward and ripped a piece of metal from the column and began to spin it around as the creature took steps towards her. She smirked slyly before hitting him in the stomach then the face causing him to stumble back from her, he growled again before using his larger infected arm to grab her by the throat.
She dropped the metal bar and used her feet to push off him, doing a flip out of his hold before landed in a squat position. She looked up at the creature with burning bright blue eyes before pushing off the ground and moving like the speed of light towards him as Leon held his head trying to understand what was happening in front of him. Amara threw multiple punches into the creatures face, chest and stomach before kicking his side causing him to stumble back with a pained groan.
Amara watched as he tumbled over the railing into the darkness below, she took slow deep breaths, her eyes returning to a natural blue before she hesitantly turned to Leon knowing he'd have questions she didn't know the answer too. "What... just happened?" Leon asks her, not an ounce of fear towards her like she believed may happen. "I... don't know. I... I'm not human, am I? That wasn't natural?" Amara tells him as he heart began to race in fear.
A tear fell from her eye, Leon quickly stepped forward and wiped the tear away leaving his hand resting on the side of her face. "It's okay, Amara. We'll find out, I promise. It's gonna be okay," Leon assured her as she smiled sadly before closing her eyes enjoying his presence, she didn't understand why this officer made her feel safe or... warm. But she loved the feeling and she never wanted to let that go, out of fear of becoming the very thing she just fought against.
Leon admires the fair-skinned woman in front of him, her unnatural silver hair, her bright blue eyes, her plump pink lips, her lightly tinted rosy cheeks and the way her smile made him feel a warmth in his chest. Leon Kennedy had seen his fair share of attractive women, he wouldn't deny that because the world was full of them but something about Amara seemed to entice him; almost as though she was a siren luring him to his death and yet, he'd follow her anyway.
She wasn't ordinary, that was certain especially after what he just witnessed but seeing the dead rise and attack each other, along with the strange mutation they just fought; Leon was left to believe that the woman in front of him had been affected differently by this strange virus, her body had a different response that he had no clue about. Leon didn't care about the risks that surrounds them, he knew one thing was for certain - Amara was someone special he wanted in his life.

The two survivors rushed over to a ladder that had suddenly dropped down, Leon went up first to ensure it was safe before helping Amara up. They nodded at each other as they adjusted the guns in their hands before making their way up some stairs then to another ladder which Leon had removed a manhole lid. He pulled Amara up before looking around noticing they had found themselves to be in the parking garage, the cold breeze rushed over them from the gated driveway causing a shiver to run over their bodies.
Amara looked up at Leon who seemed to be focusing on the details of the area, analysing the area for a way out, no doubt. She admired him and his bravery, the way he doesn't back down from a fight or to save a life. Leon turned to Amara catching her staring at him causing her to look away as he smiled due to the light blush on her face, "Are you okay there Amara?" Leon teased softly as he tilted his head ever so slightly, Amara nodded quickly as she rubbed her arm anxiously.
Amara didn't quite understand the feeling she had in the moment, it was warm and soft yet it seemed so foreign and she couldn't help but feel as though she'd be in trouble for feeling that way. Leon stepped closer to Amara and brushed a loose strand of hair, that had fallen from her ponytail, behind her ear with a kind smile on his face when a distant howl caught their attention. Leon stepped back remembering the situation at hand, mentally cursing himself for being lost in the moment.
He cleared his throat, "Let's see what we can find. Gotta get out of here." Amara nodded before walking off to the left while Leon walked to the right. He didn't regret the sudden move or the flirtatious smirk towards her, he just knew right now was not the time for it but knowing she didn't regret it made him more confident towards making a move once they are out of there. The distant howls continued and Leon really hoped the two of them would find a way out of there - and soon.
