For one thing Katrina Cameron was sure of, she wasn't made for the famous life.
Her whole life she has been a reserved girl who keeps her privacy. Sometimes she even goes as far as to keep her own feelings from Tom.
She after all, has been hiding some of them from him. Of how she feels about him being away for so long.
When they met, Katrina was told of how famous Tom was. She had been warned before she got feelings for him.
But lately, all she can do is feel the huge hole in her on how much she misses him grow bigger. It gets worse when she hears Peter ask for his father.
He is of course, a lot more present than when he did the first Spider-man movie.
Yet, he was busy.
Katrina pushes back a strand of her hair as she embraces the few moments she gets to be this close with her fiancé.
Tom takes a glance down at her as she lay between his legs and her back on his chest. His arms wrapped around her shoulders.
He could notice the faint frown on her pretty face. "Is everything alright, Darling?"
Katrina immediately removed the frown from her forehead and puts up a smile.
"Yeah."
But he knew her. At least he thinks he does. Because when her smile doesn't reach her ears, he grows worried.
Making them both sit up, Tom positions his hands on either sides of her face. "No you're not. What's wrong?"
Katrina hadn't been feeling her best. Physically she was alright, but emotionally and mentally she could feel her grip on herself loosening.
"Tom, I'm alright. I'm just tired," she leans on his warm hands trying to gain the best comfort from him. "Peter really drained my energy today."
Peter Holland. That little boy who was brought to this world by love. He who slept beside them on the couch. He even snores.
Tom watched her eyes. He looked at the light eyes with so many emotions. He remembers that they were the first thing he ever saw on Katrina.
They really caught him in her spiders web. She has a sparkle, a light he wanted to meet and know. A kind of life he wanted to experience.
