Katrina Cameron was sitting down on her bed with her son by her side eating his snack as she did some online school homework. She had let some accumulate and she needed to urgently catch up not wanting to fall behind and lose a year.
She had to take care of her son and that took time, so doing homework on a roll wasn't her strongest suit. She usually did them at night when he would be asleep and sometimes she'd stay up until morning.
Katrina didn't want to be a mother that didn't pay attention to her son as much as needed and homework was also important, so she tried at best to balance out both things.
Also being in a relationship.
"Kat? Peter?" the pair at the couch looked up smiling.
"Papa's home" she told her son and he jumped off the couch ran to the door where the British man stood looking for his family.
"Papa!" he excitedly yelled taking a stronghold on his legs. Tom laughed at his son and bend down grabbing him and carrying him.
"Hey, buddy! You excited to see me?" he says to which the little boy nods. Katrina walked into the room.
"Hey babe" the mother of the child says and Tom turns to her. His eyes light up when he saw her just like the day they first met and they still manage to get excited. Katrina always has the same bright smile when she sees Tom even years after dating she still smiles when she's around him.
"Hello darling" he says and brings her in for a kiss they both had been belonging during the day. Sometimes Tom leaves way too early in the morning and he knows how much rest does Katrina needs for a long day that he doesn't wake her up and so he just gives her a soft kiss on the forehead.
"How did your day go?" the brunette asked the British guy. "Well, Spider-man will have a lot of action in this movie. And also a lot of water," he said which answered as to why he had wet hair. "How has your's been?"
"Great! We had fun and i did some work while he was taking a nap. A pretty good day actually" usually she couldn't do work in the day, since Peter wouldn't want to go take a nap and so she couldn't leave him alone a whole day to do homework.
Tom smiled happily she got to do work he knew how much she worked for and proudly looked as she grabbed Peter. "So, foods ready. I made your favorite" she told Tom who's eyebrows raised in surprise and cheered.
Katrina doing his favorite which wasn't such a small meal made him admire her even more. She was a really good multitasker and it made him proud of how much she worked to be a good mother, fiancee, and student.
His love for her would grow more and more every day and seeing her handle a lot of things at the same time and not look like she's about to explode made him also wonder how much can this girl do.
