"Get off practice and find your mate. You are the only Alpha who doesn't have a mate." Beta told the Alpha who was busy practicing her sword skills.
"I tried finding my mate, but I can't. I don't even know if my mate is a human or vampire or is a werewolf like me. How am I supposed to find my mate? Besides even you haven't found your mate." The Alpha stopped the practice and faced her Beta.
"Tzuyu-ya both our cases are different I am a Beta while you are an Alpha true Alpha to be exact. If you don't find your mate before blood moon there are high chances that other packs will try to take over your position." Jeongyeon said. Before Tzuyu could reply the gammas of the pack interrupted their conversation.
"Tzuyu, Elkie of vampire clan wanted to meet you. She said it's really important." Dahyun one of the Gammas said.
"Okay, ask her to wait for me in castle's meeting room. I will talk to her privately Jeongyeon unnie will come with me while Dahyun unnie and Mina unnie keep a check on pups, see if there are any crimes or robbery, switch batch one warriors with batch two and ask seer (The werewolf with spiritual eyes) is she could meet me. Dismiss." As soon as Tzuyu said that everyone proceeded to complete the works assigned to them.
"What do you think Elkie is here for?" Jeongyeon asked Tzuyu while they were proceeding towards meeting room.
"Maybe they need blood for blood moon." Tzuyu shrugged. As they reached meeting room warriors bowed towards them. Tzuyu entered meeting room followed by Jeongyeon.
"What's with the sudden visit?" Jeongyeon questioned Elkie as they sat on the round table.
"Number one we need blood for blood moon's ritual we asked other packs and they denied saying we were their enemies even though they signed a treaty with us saying they will give us blood in return of protecting them from rogues so, we decided to go to our last option your pack moonlight. Number two all the packs have found their Luna, So, you are the only one who doesn't have a mate." Elkie said
"And how does it concerns you?" Tzuyu asked.
"Come one you are literally my cousin how can it not affect me that my cousin sister is mateless." Elkie said teasingly.
"Mateless is that even a word and what should I do if my mate is not ready to show itself" Tzuyu replied annoyingly
"Yo yo yo calm down you are an Alpha stop acting like child ask your officials for advice after all they don't have mates too. Anyways send one litre blood by next week. Tell Mina and Dahyun I said Hi. Bye Jeongyeon" And with that Elkie teleported.
"Your cousin literally insulted us in our place, but we can't reply because she was right, and I hate the fact that all of our high position holders don't have mates." Jeongyeon muttered bitterly.
"I know I feel frustrated too but for right now let's take a look at what is happening in our pack" Tzuyu said and Jeongyeon nodded.
As they were inspecting their pack. They came across a bunch of kids playing tag but there was one kid who was sitting alone in the corner watching everyone play with a sad face. So Tzuyu and Jeongyeon decided to go to that kid. As they went near everyone saw their Alpha and bow down.
"Why are you sitting here alone? Don't want to play?" Tzuyu asked but the kid just shook his head. So Tzuyu bend down to his level.
"Then why aren't you playing?" Tzuyu questioned so the kid
"They say I am fat and ugly." The kid said pointing towards the group of kids playing this broke Tzuyu's heart seeing her pack members disrespecting their own member. So, she decided to walk towards them, As they saw her coming so, they immediately ran towards her.
"Hi pups, what are you guys playing?" Tzuyu asked kids as they circled her.
"We are playing tag. Alpha will you join?" The kids said excitedly. Everyone in the moonlight was close to Tzuyu as she often stayed with pack and helped them rather in lazing in her castle.
"Really you will let me play. Can I also bring this boy with me?" Tzuyu asked with smile but to her dismay kids just shook their heads.
"No Alpha he is ugly and fat." The kids said pointing towards the boy who looked like he was about to cry.
"He is not ugly or fat he is unique just like all of you are. All of you are unique in your own way also think if someone said bad things about you, You would feel sad too right just like that he also feels sad when you say bad words to him. So, say sorry to him and become friends with him and don't say bad words about others." Tzuyu explained kids who understood their mistake apologized to him.
While Jeongyeon was watching the scene from distance with smile on her face with Dahyun and Mina who just reached there. Tzuyu turned back towards them and gave them a brief smile and continued walking around the area.
Even though moonlight was the biggest pack there was no big problems in the pack. Everyone was pretty calm about everything. Members of pack were open-minded and accepting to stuff unlike other packs who would always fight each other like there's no tomorrow. One of the reason others were afraid of moonlight was because of how much trust they had in Tzuyu who was their Alpha. Unlike other packs Tzuyu didn't became Alpha because of genetics instead she was true Alpha which meant she became Alpha because of her wisdom, strength, character, and virtue. There was a time when moonlight was abused by their own Alpha that's when Tzuyu came and helped them to reach where they are.
As soon as they were done inspecting the pack they headed straight away to their castle and had a supper and went straight towards their respective rooms to sleep since it really late but before they could sleep they were called in meeting room as Tzuyu wanted to discuss something important in private.
"What are we doing here at such an ungodly hour?" Mina asked Tzuyu
"We are here because we still don't have mates and blood moon is coming up in three months." Tzuyu answered.
"Oh, about that I went to ask seer and she said we can visit her early morning tomorrow." Dahyun said.
"Okay then everybody go to sleep ready at 4 a.m.sharp we will leave early since it will take time to reach our destination. Dismiss" Tzuyu ordered
