Unexpected Love

Chapter 20

Tzuyu's P.O.V

For the first time, a General Meeting was called in Moonlight. The only announcement people hoped for was that their officials finally found their mates and we will deliver this news to them but are they ready to know it. I told them that it will be okay, but will it be really okay. Will they accept them? Ahh, I don't know.

"Everything will be fine," Sana spoke and stood by my side holding my hand rubbing it soothingly.

I looked into her eyes, and I saw stars. Her eyes were shining so brightly and despite the stars, they were black holes sucking me in and all I could see was love and that was the exact moment I thought "Damn, how did I get so lucky to have you." There was a moment of silence and then I realized something. "I said that out loud, didn't I?" and that's when her lips curved into a shy smile and she nodded cutely with stains of red appearing on her cheeks.

I noticed her staring at my lips, so I decided to make a move and brought my body closer to her. My face was inches away from mine, I could feel her hot breath fanning my face, I saw the dazed look in her eyes. We both closed our eyes leaning in.

***Knock Knock Knock*** and then someone knocked on the door. "What a classic interruption" Tzuyu groaned while Sana shifted back in embarrassment. "Come in," I yelled. "Everyone has gathered in the hall Alpha." The warrior said. "Expect my presence there in five minutes," I replied as he went out bowing to us one last time.

No one's P.O.V

"You'll be fine. We'll be fine. Everything will be fine. I trust you." Sana smiled as Tzuyu caressed her hair and left a peck on her head.

Telling the pack members about important things was never an easy thing for Tzuyu. It was scary knowing her one decision can affect so many lives. In past she tried to avoid anything that made her pack members upset but what about now, She has never been this uncertain about any of her decision.

Walking where her feet take her, she reached the entrance of the hall. Her expression was blank, but her heart was mind and her heart was on a run. Taking step towards the podium she saw her friends' faces, she saw how they were comforting her through their eyes.

Taking a deep breath and closing her eyes she spoke. "My greetings to everyone present, I am sure all of you are curious as to why I am here but before I make any announcement, I want to thank some people for all their love and support. Jeongyeon unnie you were always there for me, despite being only a few years older than me you treated me like a child, you still do, you always encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone and I promise I will try to keep my room as clean as possible. Mina-unnie you were always there for me at night when I had nightmares, I still remember all the late-night talks we had, Thanks to you I was able to let go of all the random things I had in my head and at last Dahyun-unnie. You know I love you a lot, but I wish you would stop doing your eagle dance at least in public. It's embarrassing but seriously you are someone I looked up to a lot no matter what happens you were always so positive about everything, you made everyone around you happy. I know I don't say this a lot, but I am grateful to all three of you for sticking by my side even in my darkest time, and even though I am embarrassed to say it, but I love you." Tzuyu spoke as everyone's chest was swollen in pride seeing the close relationship between their officials while the spoken girl could barely contain their tears. Continuing Tzuyu spoke again

"Now talking about the reason, we all are gathered here, I know all of you were patiently waiting for all of us to find our mates and we found them three days after the party, but we wanted to know them better before we introduce them to you, and I suppose you all may have met them. So, we would like to introduce you to our mates. The Rogue Beta Nayeon mate of Jeongyeon unnie, Rogue Beta Momo mate of Dahyun-unnie, Healer Chaeyoung mate of Mina-unnie and Rogue Alpha Sana my mate and another Rogue Beta Jihyo-unnie" As Tzuyu was done speaking Nayeon, Momo, Jihyo, Sana and Chaeyoung shyly walked in and the hall fell silent and fear was slowly creeping in their minds until one kid suddenly shouted.

"How are you Rogue Nayeon-ssi?" The kid shouted waving his hand enthusiastically. Nayeon looked at him puzzled before she remembered that she was the kid she met when she came here the first time. Wanting to reply she shot him a quick smile and nodded her head as the kid replied her back with a smile. Everyone just shook their heads at the interaction before they clapped their hands indicating the happiness they felt for their Alpha and other officials.

"Based on your reactions I believe you all are willing to accept them as our mates but to avoid any misunderstanding I would ask again. If anyone has a problem with them being our mates, please tell me now." Tzuyu took a look around but saw no reaction so she smiled warmly and spoke again "Since everyone is okay next week on the blood moon, we will introduce the world to our mates." And with that Tzuyu got off the stage with others following her.

As soon as they reached the hall Jeongyeon, Mina and Dahyun attacked Tzuyu with a hug. While the youngest looked at her mate for help who was laughing along with her friends.

"You almost made me cry on stage in front of everyone," Jeongyeon muttered with a pout.

"Stop pouting you look like a dying duck." Tzuyu deadpanned and the remaining eight burst into laughter.

"You are so mean." Jeongyeon softly whispered before Nayeon hugged her and snuggled into her while others just made gagging noises leaving the duo alone.

"I really love but can I say something?" Jeongyeon spoke and continued when she felt Nayeon nod.

"Take a bath you stink." Nayeon abruptly let go of Jeongyeon and glared at her before muttering "I hate you" and suddenly leave the place leaving latterly dumbfounded

"Yah, Nayeon.... Nayeon-ah...... Nayeon-ah" Jeongyeon's voice was echoing in the whole place.
