I spend the next week, day after day, going back to that shop in the hope that I would see that woman once again.

Unfortunately, I still haven't found her.

"I have to think of some other plan." I mumbled to myself, standing next to the drinks and eyeing the place I saw that woman last.

I walked towards the register, "Excuse me, can I ask you something?"

The older man nodded, "Of course. Ask away."

I stood restlessly in my place, "This might be a strange question, but a week ago, there was this woman who, if I'm correct, bought a drink here. I'm wondering if she came here often, or if you have any information about her? She had brown hair till a little over her shoulders, brown eyes and she wasn't much taller than me," I thought about how I could add the next thing, "maybe a little bit of a rather odd woman?"

I knew this description of her sucked, but there was this tiny chance of him being able to tell me more information about her, so I took the opportunity to ask.

"I'm sorry, but I can't help you with that. I don't know who you are talking about, I encounter a lot of people on the daily. Sorry, miss." He gave a small, apologetic smile.

"That's alright.. I knew the chances of you knowing her were small. Have a great day." I showed a disappointed smile.

I was about to exit the shop, when I heard a voice speak up, "Wait! Miss! I think I just remembered something.."

I widened my eyes and immediately walked back towards him, "You do? Tell me, please. It's very important! Anything could help!"

He scratched his head, fingers disappearing in his grey hair.

"I think I know who you are talking about. I'm not sure if I'm picturing the right person, but from your description, I think I am. There are a lot of women who look alike but she was indeed rather.. Odd. I never thought much of it when she came to pay, she never said a word either. She always bought the same drink.. What is it called again? Wait, I'll show you."

He made a sign for me to follow him and I did so, together we walked back towards the drinks and I watched him as he took one, squinting his eyes through his glasses as he read the name of it.

"This is the drink. I'm sure she really likes it.. She always buys this one and nothing else. She usually comes here about three times a week? I don't know if anything I'm saying helps, but at least it is something."

I smiled at him, "Thank you so much! It actually does."

He turned to look at the register and hurried back when people wanted to pay, "I'm sorry, but I have to go! Have a great day miss."

I wanted to wish him the same but he already left.

I turned my attention back on the drink, reading what it said.

The funny thing is, the drink had a picture of three tree tops imprinted on the plastic, and this shop is called 'The Three Trees.'

I knew I shouldn't think much of it; it was all probably a coincidence. Not that it could mean much anyways, apart from her really liking this drink.

I pulled out my phone as a new idea popped up in my head. I went to Google and searched for similar shops called 'The Three Trees.'

The only result I found was another shop about two hours away from this place.

'It's always worth a shot, right?'

I don't know what came over me, but for some reason my gut feeling was telling me to go and look there.
