A few days have passed.

No one has heard of Jungkook, we were all glad we hadn't.

There were no signs of him yet, we even started to question if what we thought that happened, actually happened or not.

Knowing Jungkook, we thought he would've popped up the moment he woke up here again.

But he didn't.

Helen tried to contact Edith but to avail, she couldn't seem to reach her. Helen and I were worried sick; what if Jungkook really wasn't here, and he did something to Edith?

Then what?

Taehyung and I were currently strolling through town, going inside of shops and enjoying each other's company to the fullest.

"Wait, let's look there!" I eyed a shop, the vibes it gave me made me smile. Entering, I looked around and hummed.

I intertwined my hand with Taehyung's and swung them side to side while walking around.

I stopped seeing different kinds of drinks.

'Can you get me the drink I like so much?'

Edith's words replayed in my head. I took a good look, inspecting the variety of drinks and I grabbed one which somehow reminded me of the one back in my world.

I knew the chances of this being the actual drink she likes were small, after all, she didn't give me any specific names and such but it felt right.

Lately things have felt nothing but right.

Me, being here. Finally being back with Taehyung. This place for some reason felt more like home than my actual home, away from my lonely existence.

I had friends here, people who cared about me.

When we finished going around town, we raced each other back to the others. The one who would lose couldn't drink from the other for a day.

I should've disagreed with Taehyung on that, but being competitive, I wasn't going to lose.

I did, however, and I was currently cursing while walking away from him.

He laughed loudly, running after me. "Y/n! I- it's okay, you can drink from me!" He chuckled.

"No, a bet is a bet and I lost. Sucks to be me then. I'm not going to give in now." I huffed and turned my heels, later being attacked with a back hug.

"Do you guys know where Helen is? I have to ask her if she has heard anything from Edith by now." I looked at Yoongi and Hoseok who shook their heads.

"Helen? I haven't seen her at all today. Coming to think of it, I haven't seen her since yesterday evening." Yoongi said.

That's wierd.

"Maybe she's just busy." Jimin walked inside of the room.

"Yeah, don't worry, Y/n. I'm sure it'll all be fine." Hoseok reassured me.

I just nodded, trying to push the unsettling feeling away.

Something just didn't feel quite right.

Another day passed by and now I was really starting to worry. It wasn't like Helen at all to just disappear so suddenly.

"Y/n? I heard the doors open, let's go see who it is, it might be Helen!" Taehyung bumped my shoulder, trying to lift my mood.

I quickly stood up and together we rushed downstairs, praying that we would see her familiar face.

It was in fact a familiar face who appeared around the corner.

Just definitely not the one we were expecting.

Taehyung didn't waste a second and pushed me behind him.

"Jungkook."

I looked over Taehyung's shoulder, now having direct eye contact with him.

I shivered.

"You pulled it off," Jungkook said, gritting his teeth. "How did it feel? Leaving me?"

I heard Taehyung chuckle. "Just leave it. Why can't you just give up? She's not your mate anymore."

For a moment, Jungkook's eyes showed purple.

I noticed that Taehyung froze, I rolled my eyes, not fazed.

"Jungkook, you do realize, that those eyes of yours are probably just a side effect from the thing you pulled off. Coming here with me. That wasn't supposed to happen. Hell, me being a vampire again wasn't even supposed to happen. I know that Helen cannot turn me human anymore because that is something that can only be done once. It simply means that I'm stuck here. Forever. Just because of you coming here with me."

I wasn't really mad about that, because like I said, this place feels like home.

I just really had to get used to that thought.

"Taehyung, step aside. I want to see her when I'm talking to her." Jungkook glared.

"It's okay," I smiled at Taehyung who hesitated. He stepped aside and Jungkook walked closer to me.

"Why did you leave me?"

I was shocked seeing his facial expressions change drastically. His tone in his voice changed to a softer one.

For the first time ever, I saw an emotion in his eyes I thought I wouldn't see. Hurt.

"I- I'm sorry.." I uttered, suddenly at loss for words. What would I say anyways?

"Did you really want to go back here that badly? Did you really want to continue this mistake again..?" He nudged between Taehyung and I.

I sighed.

"Jungkook, stop saying that what Taehyung and I have is a mistake. It's not, what y-"

"IT IS A FUCKING MISTAKE, Y/N!" He shouted, pushing me back a little.

Taehyung blocked me from Jungkook again.

"If you hadn't treated me like you did back then, then maybe we would've been together right now. If you hadn't hurt me like you did, then maybe I wouldn't have seeked for comfort which Taehyung gave me. Then maybe, what we now have, might have not happened at all. But you see, Jungkook, you treated me like shit. You hurt and broke me in ways that'll never get fixed again. You fucking murdered my grandfather, Jungkook! He did nothing wrong! I did nothing wrong! Why did you do all of that!"

His expression changed again,"You really hate me, huh? Alright. But mark my words.."

He smirked, eyeing Taehyung and then he looked back at me.

"If I can't have you, no one can."
