William never failed to visit you, even if coming to see you was quite the walk.

Yes, he could take the carriage.

But he preferred the stroll.

Today was a rather dull day, the sun was suffocated by thick grey clouds threatening to rain down on him.

Luckily the end of Williams walk was upon him and he sat down on the bench beside you, smiling softly.

"You know, I'll never forget how much you love the rain y/n." He said with a small chuckle and propped his cane up against the bench.

"Even if it was pouring, you'd still go out and dance in it."

The memory of you laughing even though you were soaked to the bone stayed locked in his head permanently.

"You know, Louis talks about you a lot. He misses you dearly. And so do I. I've written you so many letters y/n."

William rests his gaze upon your weathered tombstone.

Your name etched in the stone marker, a painful reminder that you were gone.

William set a letter on top of countless others resting by the grave.

"We all miss you."

William can feel his throat burn with the overwhelming urge to cry.

"And I'm sorry I never got to tell you..."

He crouches down in front of your grave.

"How much I've loved you."

The words fall on deaf ears.

An empty wind comes through, bringing the drizzle of rain with it and William dabs his eyes with a kerchief before patting your tombstone.

"I'll see you again. Y/n."
