As the weeks went by (y/n) got closer to Osamu but she made sure to keep him farther than at arms reach. She noticed Atsumu starting to get clingy towards his counterpart and understood that jealousy and feeling tossed aside was a thing when siblings start to hang out less .
Not only Atsumu but Shinsuke too. Being an older brother to you and growing up over protective and close to one another made him feel off when you weren't hanging out with him as often as you used to. The cooking contest was today and deep down he prayed that after this you'd be back to hanging out with him.
Your parents joked at how attached you two were which followed with you father taking Shinsuke and your younger brother for father and sons bonding time. Where did he take them ? To an open field to 'man bond'
"Pops don't get me wrong, this is nice and all but we're suppose to go to that cooking thingy sissy has." The youngest looks up at his father
Your father looks down at the young boy with wide eyes hoping it wasn't the day. Pulling out his phone he checks the date and time and it indeed was the day the contest was.
"If ya want we can stop by and pick up the OG before going. She'd love to see sissy cook one of 'er recipes"
"She would wouldn't she.... Shin-chan- oh right he's still sleeping in the car. Well then guess this man bonding trip will be for another time." Hurrying to grandma's house Shinsuke wakes up feeling down. He didn't want to be out in the field nor go to the contest.
"Can ya drop me off at OG Yumie's house. I ain't goin' to that event." He says not batting an eye towards his father in the drivers side.
"Yer goin' cause yer goin'. Stop sulking- Yer sister loves you and you know it. I doubt the Miya kid will even try anything. Me and you both don't really like the idea of (y/n) hanging out with him like she's been doing but all we can do is observe and judge from afar. Even short stuff back there doesn't like the Miya." He points to the young boy who makes a barfing sound when he hears Osamu's last name.
