I am late and i am extremely sorry for that. Had been out of town recently with a really bad network but neverthless here goes the next part. Gonna have 2 more before the story ends cause i don't wanna drag it unnecessarily.

NANDINI'S POV

The messy room had empty bottles laid on the ground, waiting for someone to trip over them. I almost was a victim. As for the people in this crowded area, they looked reminded me of the beer bottles: empty and useless even though they were all my girl friends. As I stepped over the god-awful mess, I noticed the music playing in the background. The tunes sounded like the music from my playlist. Sofia was right, Mukti did choose my playlist for the party afterall the fighting over who's gonna be the DJ. All of a sudden, this party wasn't so bad after all. Well, at least with my choice of music it wasn't. I couldn't help but let my mind wander off towards the boy's party. How would that be happening? Or majorly how would Manik be acting like there? The casanova him or a stern guy? Is he gonna flirt with the other girls they might have invited?

Gosh Nandini stop thinking about Manik, it's your best friend's bachelorette paty for fucks sake. I scolded my inner self for letting my mind wander to that one guy i wanted to have nothing with.

"Hey bro," Sofia said, coming over to give me a handshake. "How's it going. Are you likin' the party?". Definitely hammered and having way too much fun with the alchohol i feel.

I nodded. "Very much so. I am so glad that we planned a fun night before Navya wanders off to a useless life after her wedding."

Mukti slapped me on the back. "Stop with such nonsense." She chuckled leaving the stripper she had been enjoying with to one side."You're Miss Nandini talking like a stern teacher all of a sudden. this is not you my girl. Loosen up, don't be so stiff." She shoved a beer bottle in front of my face. "Here, drink it. You need it more than anyone in this room."

I smiled and reluctantly took the bottle and started to drink. One bottle down. "I don't plan on getting hammered tonight, Mukti. I just want to make sure that this party is all about my best friend Navya here." i cheered as Navya tagged along with bottle in her own hands. Damn my goody shoes best friend is enjoying her life finally.

Sofia put a hand to her ear as if listening to something far away. "Here that.... that's our song. Now you know I wasn't lying when i said we'll have fun. Anyway, i wonder what the guys are upto?" she added with a thoughful face as the others chuckled and Mukti grabbed her phone to check on their social media stories for a hint.

I dropped the beer and said, "What- what? Boy's part? Definitely a bore" The words were heavy when coming from my mouth as i slurred on my speech. The alchohol getting to me.

"Yep. But, unless you stay for a little longer there is no way he'll be able to meet you. So, go on if you want to. We all can come along and crash theirs." Mukti gave an idea. A pretty bad one that i wasn't gonna realise until the next morning.

"No– uh," I grinned, "I'll stay." I replied making my way to the dance floor stumbling from one guy to another.

"Are you sure?" Mukti picked up the beer from the ground and handed it to me coming closer.

"I'm sure," I said eagerly.

That evening I played beer pong, strip tease and whatever else they all decided to do. I lost each game and made a fool of myself, but I kept remembering why I was doing this. I wanted to be free of all the baggage from relationship, work and lifetime drama for once.I wanted to go back to my old self where i cared for nobody other than my 2 best friends. If getting high and loosing my senses on my best friend's bachelorette party meant that I had to act like I wanted to be here and not in the arms of a man i clearly love, then by golly I am going to win an Oscar for my performance.
