26: LUNCH AFFAIRS

"Sorry can't. Next time." i kissed his cheek one more time leaving him behind and i knew that last expression. Someone wasn't happy.

Manik reached his office and tried indulging himself in meetings and floor plans but Nandini never left his mind. He tried his best to forget her, forget the encounter they had in the morning. Even though kisses and touch are not something he just had for the first time but everytime she touched him it burned his body down at every part that she laid her fingers on.

Was he just day dreaming about her touch over him, her lips on his over and over again.

Dam boy stop. Nothing tops work.

Manik scolded himself trying to get himself out of the sizzling trance as much as he could. He reframed himself back and eyes the floor plans ahead of him from his new under construction office building when he heard a slight knock on his cabin door. Smiling at himself he was satisfied by the thought that even the lady on the other side couldn't resist him and must have been day dreaming about him like he was.

"Come in." he replied with a smirk.

"Sir you have a meeting in an hour and then one later in the evening with Miss Emma Heign." a lady clad in a short office skirt and tight buttoned shirt spoke his schedule for the day.

Wait this wasn't Nandini, she was well, what was her name again- Dam. Does it even care? The only point here was that she wasn't who he was expecting it to be so the smirk lost it's way on his face. As he signalled her to walk in for the further schedule.

"Do we have a welcome bouquet and gift for Miss Emma ready?" Manik asked.

"Yes sir just as you wanted it to be and she'll be landing here in 3 hours and our driver will drop her staright off to her suite at our hotel." the PA explained.

"Good. anything else that i should be aware of?" Manik inquired eager to brush her off from his cabin as soon as possible since he had thoughts to think about.

"Yes sir one last thing, the charity that you lend on to the trust. They have gladly accepted it and have asked for your presence since the kids want to meet you personally at their 25th anniversary party." 

"Okay send my RSVP to them. I would like to visit them. Get their gifts ready soon before the date and also get me a black coffee." Manik shrugged her oogling inside the floor plans to find any mistakes.

"sir i had already got it delivered to you a few minutes back. It's right beside you. Wait i'll get that accounted well for you." Jane walked ahead standing close to him with a few buttons of her shirt open as she bent down placing the coffe cup near him.

"here sir" she spoke in a seductive voice.

"Yeha thanks" Manik turned and got caught offguard with the proximity they shared but something about it made him boil so he did what was best for the moment , pierced his angry gaze at her scaring her soul as she abruptly stood back up.

"Out of here." he roared.

"Sir?" Jane had never ever seen Manik reject a girl like that specially after they offered first and obviously it wasn't gonna be the first time he would have ever tocuhed her but that gaze right there was different.   

"Miss whatever this is my office not some sex club so get out and do the work that you are actually here for. I hope i made myself very clear." he snapped and turned back gazing back down at the plans and then his desktop.
